And the biggest proof of that is that United offered the 36-yo version of you 500 thousand p/w just for the feel good factor that comes with taking a trip down memory lane.

Sadly, you could see it coming from miles away. Let's hope he fecks off quietly before the restart.

Normally i wouldn't give a damn, but, God, it's going to be so sweet when Messi takes his CL goals record.
Just wait till the world cup. He'll ruin his legacy with Portugal by the end of that as well.

If Messi wins the world cup he'll be starting for Portugal till the next world cup.

How can you not have seen the quotes already.
Been awake an hour and 11 minutes, I doubt it's going to affect my life like an incoming nuclear weapon would  . Jeez drama much over an interview. Glad he's got round to it, will read the transcript at some point, not anything by The Sun though...

The last card of the desperate one. Everything else he's tried to get out of United has failed so there was only the 'how can I get myself sacked' option. Here we are. Perfectly timed for him, after the last pre-break game, in time for the World Cup, booted out afterwards with a pay out and off to pastures new in January. Someone will still want him despite the top level clubs telling him fukc off in the summer.

Nothing he says about how badly the club is run should be a surprise.

I can't see why anyone else would take him now though.

Dead to me. Absolute bellend. How narcissistic can you be??? This is our club. Players will come and go. None will ever be bigger than the club. Let the door hit you hard on your way out.

Here's the thing though - I don't care about his reasons. What he says here is objectively, undeniably the truth. And since this is ultra high profile it will get carried by the media far and wide. Which is good in it's own way. A means to an end.
We already know all of what he's saying. Why do some fans have a need for all this negativity and toxicity? What's the point? Do you think it's easy to find buyers for Manchester United. We need to chill out and let things take its course. Having this guy causing maximum disruption is of no help to us.

I absolutely disagree we need anymore media attention. That kind of atmosphere is not sustainable.

Neville and Carragher are not even 1/10th the player Ronaldo is. They should refrain from commenting too much about the quality of player he is. Particularly Neville, because he is a former teammate/captain, and should have some loyalty.

I hope this is a wind up

Can we just release this fecker on a free and remove him from the legends section of the website?

I considered him a club legend and now I just want to see the end of this.

Messi the GOAT.

We are clearly going places and he is not doing his part. If he made this interview before EtH he would probably be called a hero, but now it’s just embarrassing.
I think he's talking about above the manager here, and he'd definitely be right.

There were early reports even pre Rangnick that Ronaldo was shocked by the state of the facilities since he left.

Can’t wait to see how all our “good old boys” in the media defend him after this… I’m actually interested in this now more than hearing another word from Ronaldo.

I miss Fergie. That walk out should have been the last time he ever wore the shirt. We showed weakness there.

You are likely not 1/10 of the player any pro football player is, however your post history shows you comment about the quality of Manchester United players. Is that allowed?

It’s incredibly frustrating that this has come out some hours after a big win in the league, at a time when it should be about Garnacho saving United, it’s almost typical l that it’s become about Ronaldo again.

He’s right to criticise the direction the club has gone in the last 10 years, I will give him that, though I think he should have known that before he joined, even fans who have never stepped into OT before knew that. He is right about the RR to a degree, he is the worst manager we’ve had in recent years. I’m also very sorry he feels the club lacked empathy over his child, I can’t comprehend the impact it has had on him, I did think the club and the wider footballing community got right behind him.

However, he is the one that tried to engineer an exit in the summer, he’s the one that walked down the tunnel and refused to go on the pitch, he say he loves the fans and feels betrayed by the club but it is him that has betrayed us. He might not be at his best this season but we still count on him, he is still a big player for the team but he’s the one who hasn’t performed.

This is the first time in a long time that the club is moving in the right direction, he does not want to be part of it, and to be honest he no longer fits. He has played his last game and needs to go immediately.
Well summed up.

Why, because the club is 5th? The stadium is falling apart, the training facilities haven't been updated, the same shite owners are in charge. ETH can only do so much, but the problems are still there.
We’re just 6 points behind City, despite going through a massive rebuild with a new manager.
The stadium isn’t falling apart, kin ell drama much.
Carrington was updated last Summer and is in the middle of a renovation project: https://www.manutd.com/en/amp/news/...ng-carrington-training-ground-upgrade-project

Ronaldo clearly though, doesn’t give a monkies about any of this, he just wants naïve fans onboard.

Isn't life just funny. Ronaldo effectively forced out RvN and now he'll be forced out in favour of the new generation and more specifically a fan of his - Garnacho.

It's the circle of football, I guess

It would be funny as feck if he actually has no agreement with any team at the moment and he's burnt his bridges like this. I cannot imagine who would be stupid enough to take him.

Like most things some of what he says is probably right, the lack of evolution of the club is obvious and for my mind just him trying to score points with fans.

Ultimately, I'm disgusted he is coming out with this whilst still at the club, we are trying to pull things together slowly and this is so, so damaging.

He speaks of being betrayed, yet he spent all summer canvassing for a move to a UCL club.

Absolutely dead to me, I expect the club to cancel his contract immediately.

Not sure. I think ETH has dealt with the Ronaldo stuff well. This circus could be something that rips through the dressing room and the club but instead we look very United.

Deepthroating information to Howard Nurse.

Or people with a reasonable viewpoint it seems.
What’s your reasonable viewpoint? It’s been patently obvious he’s been a toxic disaster ever since he arrived undermining his manager and splitting the dressing room which turned a flawed team that had just finished 2nd into a fecking mess. Or do you think the fact he disrespected Ragnick and ETH in public proves what a great professional he is behind the scenes? I particularly love his comment about us being behind Arsenal and Liverpool - two teams we finished above before this dickhead came back.

At least RvN took it better. But RvN was a better player than current Ronaldo...

Until he put the armband on him last week. That wasn't a good look.

I don't think it's impossible to believe that Ten Haag wanted him gone. Ronaldo never said that he wanted to leave, just some journalists speculated on it. A lot of people have it in for Ronaldo, probably because of 09.
This post should be framed and go down in history as the perfect example of Ostrich head in the sand level of delusion.
