I just don’t see why that follows? How is it self serving to say what we’ve all been saying, but what no player has said, for years?
The Glazers being horrible owners was not a secret when he signed for the club for 500k a week. The very fact that they’re terrible is part reason his at the club currently. Regarding the signing of players. We signed Varane & Sancho the same summer. Casemiro before this interview.

He knew Ole was the manager when he signed too. It’s only a problem now that his not important.

When he moves to Sporting does he believe the facilities will be any better?

Serious question - who is better right now out of Choupo-Moting and Ronaldo?
Didn't Choupo-Moting score in like seven consecutive games this season? He's been very good for Bayern. He's not flashy but playing the simple number 9 role quite well

Don't hear 'Legends' of Liverpool etc digging out their players or former teammates. It's a united thing.
Blind loyalty isn't a good thing. It makes people look stupid and not a true friend if you keep being a yes man

Also neither him or Neville has said anything really negative. They said he probably needs to leave for the good of everyone and clearly Ronaldo thinks the same. Saying he is unprofessional for walking out is a shock to him? Saying Keane would have been furious if a player he captained did that is news? Neville and Rooney literally say how great Ronaldo is in their comments

Ronaldo just wants people opening their mouth and bending over for him. He wants to be told the world revolves around him and anything else is an insult

Sorry to hear about your daughter. It's horrible that your work only gave you three months for something like this. It's better than most places, but that's little comfort. Some people simply wouldn't be able to rebound so quickly. Fair dues to you for doing so. Footballers are definitely spoiled by just about every metric. It would be nice for the everyman to have this level of comfort/lack of worry in their lives.
Thanks.

Three weeks wasn't really enough, but you just have to get on with it. Luckily we have a son now so it's not all bad.

Get in! I knew you were one of them. The Ronaldo bullshitometer never fails. He just has high standards - why can’t everyone have high standards like him.
More deflection. like i said, i get it, you don't like Ronaldo. i want to see the whole interview rather than clips.

He attacked the manager in the most damaging and cowardly way possible, with a vile man, just because he also criticised the awful owners doesn't matter at all.
My posts weren't addressing that element, i hadn't defended that at all. I was addressing his alleged comments about evolution in the club since he left.

Technically we can terminate it once a trial date is given. If the date of a potential trial is far off into the future then we can claim his contract is terminated under frustration of contract.
Actually that’s not right. Frustration only occurs if due to some reason the parties can’t perform the contract. Greenwood can play but for the suspension. The fact that a trial is far off into the future doesn’t mean Greenwood can’t play. The decision to not let Greenwood play is down to the club at this point.

Rio is a dickhead for blaming ETH. With people like him in the social media this club isn't going to go anywhere. He should be called out on this. When Jamie Carragher is the voice of reason that says all.

Wow looking at how everything unfolds live on television it feels like I'm watching a cheap soap opera. How low can you go. The good thing is there is no coming back from this so he actually did us a favour with this interview.

Anyone who is still defending him needs to have a special tag associated on here, so we can filter them out easily. They don't care about the club, only Ronaldo.

You are surprised? Lots of player fanbois here and Ronaldo obviously has the largest.

Rio constantly insisting that there was no proper communication makes him sound so stupid considering he isn't part of the management team.
Looking at how things have transpired, it looks like ETH made it clear to Ronaldo that he will be a part player and that's why Ronaldo tried to leave but no one wanted him. Of course to the media, ETH has to say Ronaldo is part of the plans and we don't want to sell. Can't go public saying we don't want him can he?

Are people still listening to him?

The fact that we have people calling other fans out for 'defending' Ronaldo is quite frankly disgusting, and you should hang your heads in shame for stooping to a level that is as equally pathetic as this interview.

Grow up the lot of you.

Whilst I think it speaks volumes about how weak minded and pathetic a person is to blindly idolise a celebrity, they should at least come clean and say they support Ronaldo rather than pretending to be United fans

“Loves the club”…feck me sideways.

If the stupid bastard knew how badly the club was run (the whole football world knows) why did he join in the first place? Half a million reasons maybe? This interview is full of contradictions and has only made himself look a complete tit.
That may well be the case to those of us who know the detail, but most people don't and will believe the headlines.

Oh well, if this gives an opportunity to "tear up his contract" and effectively sack him without paying him up to July, brilliant.

Piers says about good looking comment; "It is not a contest". Wtf was that? How the hell you can sink that low?

And it looks awkard as feck when you are sucking up to other person by saying how good looking he is.

Exactly.
Souness was another prick who said that ETH must have broken promises to Ronaldo. What fecking Promise ? You can play every game ?

Some of the crap that I’m hearing in the last 24 hours is mind boggling!

Is there anyone still listening to Rio? Like Gary, scholes or Roy, most of what they say is bullshit

Why? He has come out and said a lot of things about the current manager. The best man for the job right now. If he just said The Glazers are leeches everyone would be in agreement with him.
He has undermined The manager and he has his fans and his friends like Rio blaming ETH for this. For ETH not playing him every game when he has been crap this season. He has scored 3 goals and one of it is a penalty. Fans of Manchester United has every right to call out on this. And no real United fan should defend him for what he has said.

Exactly. I mean if any manager guarantee that any particular player is going to play a certain number of games no matter how crap he is then that manager doesn't deserve to be a manager.
Rio is looking like an imbecile now. I know that Souness always was.

I still don't know what Wayne did wrong in Ronaldo's eyes. Rooney wasn't harsh on him or something.
I think Rooney has been a little bit pissy. Seems to have made quite a lot of public comments on Ronaldo stretching back to last season. When you consider he's not a pundit, you have to think why? He could just say nothing like all the other managers.

But certainly he hasn't "attacked" Ronaldo.

But that's what happens you let Piers Morgan do the interview. He'll frame the questions in the most dramatic way.

With Gary Neville its been 99% praise.

Like all narcissists ,he's extremely sensitive to anything but universal praise.
