I know Qatar are utter wankers but is the "All Arab countries are the same" stuff really necessary? Some of you are making references to Saudi Arabia when mentioning Qatar and I'm not quite understanding it.
Honestly, it's been open season for Islamophobia on here lately and nothing is done "because Qatar are cnuts".

This is hilarious.. Have you guys seen any football? The fan reaction in the English leagues or anywhere in Europe/South America would have been far worse..
A guy telling him to shut up is probably the nicest reaction he could have hoped for ..

But because its Qatar its scary all of a sudden..
Yeah, I suspect there's a bit of arrogance on his part because he thinks the Qatari's will passively take it. As you say, I very much doubt he does a similar gesture in a nation like, say, Russia at the last world cup.

What’s been said there ? What’s the money thing and then what did the gentleman sitting behind say
he’s standing up doing a bribery action with his hand for all to see.

I don’t know what is being said. All I know is he’s got a young daughter next to him and clearly not thinking smartly

I actually think he wouldn't have done it in a latin country, and he only did it because he thought Qatar was safe and civilized. The reaction here is mopre surprising, like he's instantly gonna die/get beaten/deported for doing that

Loving the Islamophobic 'jokes'. Keep them coming RedCafe.
Some are so thick they won't even acknowledge it, just 'top banter' in their eyes.

Thread could do with some cleaning up from the mods.

This game is so shit.

Come on Qatar, I put 2-1 to Ecuador on my WC predictions competition.

Have to agree, it is a bit much under the cover of the general negativity surrounding Qatar as host nation.

People in this thread joking about bone saw murder on that Ecuadorian fan that provoked the random Qatari spectators with the hand gesture.

Pretty awful game of football. Two teams lacking quality with the ball on the deck.

he’s obviously just getting overly excited in the moment, but as a father it seems a very irresponsible thing to do. I’ll leave it at that

This has been a bad game.

How will the next World Cup look with 48 teams?

The odds of another fan hitting him over it definitely seem much higher at a league game than at this WC. But who knows what could happen if some person with authority saw him and got pissed, when you don't necessarily have human rights to fall back on? Not that there's any indication of that happening in that video. But it's something you should keep in mind before acting up.

Just watching again and the game is a bit flat. Would be good if Qatar could pull one back just to inject some excitement..

Would be nice seeing some star players from smaller countries like Norway's Haaland and Georgia's Kvaratskhelia. But yeah, not a fan of 48 teams.

That is never acceptable. They only shouted at him. The thing is he would have probably been treated a lot worse if he did that in the England end and saying it about England.

Only one particular poster is onto it like he’s gonna get stoned for that. The ignorance is astounding. Goes to show the mindset.

Agree. But Qatar might be happy that they have kept it down to 2 after the start they had.

Good from Qatar there. That's what they should be doing. They look a bit overwhelmed though.
