Does Matterface know what's going on? Says stricken player is back walking but whole stadium is still silent. Obviously cameras aren't zooming in like the euros so hard to tell.

Think it's more some people just dismissing England's performance yesterday so you're getting these comments. And Saudi really hasn't done much at World cup in last 20 years.

This is going to be one of the biggest shocks we've seen tbh in the World cup for a long time given Argentina are generally always a top 5 nation in terms of ability and achievement.
Definitely has to go down as the biggest shock in World Cup history IMO. This even tops Korea win against Germany in the last group game of the 2018 World Cup. At least Korea is a decent team with big players like Son. I don't think anyone can even name a player from this Saudi Arabia team. I hope this is a lesson not to underestimate any teams in the World Cup and we shouldn't downplay England's performance yesterday. My goodness.

That is how you run and jump. It cannot be stopped unless goalkeepers can only jump from a stand still.
Nah that's just bollocks you dont need to lift your knees head height at all

That's one of the worst clashes I've ever seen on a football pitch. At least he seems to be conscious, thank god.

How Sam Matterface became the main commentator for ITV is beyond me. Biggest downgrade ever going from Clive to him. He's probably the worst commentator in the game.

The Saudis took us to the cleaners last game, we barely scraped a 0-1 victory from Kramarić so this has come as no surprise to anyone who watched them play.

South Korea beat all of Portugal, Italy and Spain in 2002 (albeit in unique circumstances) so they have a history of it, Saudi Arabia don't really and would've been one of the rank outsiders in betting and general expectations.

They've certainly embraced playing in a near enough home world cup so Poland certainly won't be finding them easy at all.

Fair fecks to them. That was some performance. Argentina never showed up and looked like they thought they were going to get an easy win.
