Yeah Argentina have nothing about them. You can't rely on a 35 year old to dig you out. Everyone needs to be part of the team with defensive work, work rate, movement etc. Too easy to shut them down otherwise.
The thing is, that's precisely what was remarkable about this side. They finally had a team that did all that and didn't just "give it to Messi".
What really struck me against Saudi was that, when things got tough they reverted to the old formula that didn't work for other teams before them. No leadership, no ownership of the outcome, bunch of fecking cowards the lot of them.
