The offside law wasn't designed for cm accuracy. It's there to stop goal hanging.

Should have been tested before it was ever used. Law needs updating for VAR games, kills the spectacle, often.
It was designed for accuracy. I have no idea why this keeps getting posted. Linesmen always had to judge cm accuracy to the point it simply wasn’t fair on them and VAR had to be introduced at some stage.
Criticism has gone too far now where clear offsides are given and it’s being criticised for it. No margin of error ever leaves Rudiger onside and any lineman in line gives it

I'm pretty sure that German striker is just Wout Weghorst playing under a fake German name.

It's a clear offside and if you're not able to see why Rüdiger is getting an unfair advantage in that position then I don't know what to say.
Wasn't specifically posting about that. VAR offside just ruins the spectacle generally. Saw it with Morata just now. So grating.

Germany still has chance considering Spain will most likely win their last game but this is poor from Germany

It’s hard to believe this is a crucial match between Germany and Spain at the World Cup. You could hear a pin drop.

Everyone saying Spain are good. Germany are giving them a good run for their money and they're supposed to be underwhelming

It’s sad to see Sane not take his potential right to the top. He really has everything to be elite but just doesn’t quite get there.

Wonder if Japan and Spain play out a tactical dull 0-0 so both go through (assuming Germany win)

I think they could beat France. Not sure on Brazil. Yeah that's a prospective QF isn't it so luck of the draw.

Just feels like a WC that's going to suit them especially with return of amazing quality in midfield. They grew into last year's euros after a slow start and could've made the final and much more convincing start this time.
I honestly think their midfield gets overrated. Busi is old and slow

Germany are so so sloppy, constantly throwing away really promising situations by just passing the ball to Spain

This Spanish team is packed full of potential but no way their the best team at the moment, too young and too inexperienced to be so and Germany has been clearly dreadful in both matches.

It's not looking good for them at the moment and no big batch of talent coming in to save the day like it did back in 2010.
Germany actually have a healthy lot of talent coming up:
defence: Bella - Kotchap from Southampton, Thiaw from Milan, Luca Netz from Möchengladbach.
midfield: Aydin, Eyüp from Bayern, Eric Martel from Cologne
attack: Moukouko from Borussia, Ansgar Knauff & Karem Adeyemi from Borussia also, Musiala then and Wirtz from Leverkusen who had ACL injury.

Musiala is the only good thing about this German team.
