Say what you want but those are some proper Geman names!Ok that's now Hofmann, Schlotterbeck, Klostermann, and Füllkrug on the pitch in a vital Germany Spain game at the WC.
International cup football, 1 game shit happens. Germany created more xG vs Japan than pretty much anyone in any game this tournament. They just missed chances and then were punished. Reading too much into a fluke result isn't smartI don't think the game is that good technically, lots of intensity for sure but Spain conceded a lot against a Germany team that lost to Japan 3 days ago, they hardly play "a different game".
Spot on. Rodri is much better now. Enriques Barca favouritism will be their downfall.Yeah personally I'd have Rodri starting at base of their midfield but hierarchy I guess.
What a finish from the Bremen guy, he wasn't letting Musiala having another shot was he?!
It is but his general position was horrible there with the rest of the backline stepping up. Not getting away with that if Mbappe or Vinicius are in that position.Schlotterbeck with a great tackle
Its just a typoNew way to spell Atletico, at least you didn’t say Athletico.
How old is Schlotterbeck? I know people give him stick but I really like himSchlotterbeck did feck up the offside before, i think, but still great save.
Germany lost to Japan a few days ago.
France would slaughter them
I am talking about the quality of their passing and pressing. They may lose games due to their deficiencies but I like the quality of their football. Talking about Germany here.I assume you’re being sarcastic
Don't underestimate yourself!I’m on the half that doesn’t. I’m a fat bass turd.
22How old is Schlotterbeck? I know people give him stick but I really like him
I went to German private school as a child due to living 2 km from the borderAll those German classes in school paying off I see.
High quality? Not for me. So many misplaced passes and poor decisionsThat’s a weird comparison seeing as Germany are miles better than the USA. This has been a far higher quality football game.
I nkow mateIts just a typo
They never really do. The only real all time great striker they've produced was Gerd Muller, maybe Klinsmann if you're generous. The likes of Klose and Mario Gomez had weird careers as they were much more prolific with the national team than at club level where they were never truly dominant and mostly spent their careers at mid-tier clubs.I was just about to ask how a country like Germany cannot produce a half decent striker.
I said higher quality, not high quality. That’s not hard given how poor England v USA was. It’s been a very good game.High quality? Not for me. So many misplaced passes and poor decisions
I’m not sure what game you’re watching but this isn’t high quality.I am talking about the quality of their passing and pressing. They may lose games due to their deficiencies but I like the quality of their football. Talking about Germany here.
That's a lot of conclusion drawn from basically 1 game against Costa Rica and a draw (so far) against germany.I dunno I just don't see it at all. Spain was too young at the euros and they outplayed everyone and lost on pens to the winners who were also excellent. How is the attack blunt, they are the top scorers in the world Cup? They are coached brilliantly and play like an elite CL side and have bundles of creativity. They are young sure, but Pedri is world class already, not some random young player.
I wouldn't hate if we signed him
That’s actually me over estimating myself!Don't underestimate yourself!
Torres? Villa?Spain haven't had a proper 9 since Raúl.
Such a wonderful playerAgree with whoever said Musiala has a bit of the Zidane about him.
I thought the Riquleme with more pace comparison was more apt.Agree with whoever said Musiala has a bit of the Zidane about him.
