If Foden pays more than a tenner for his haircut, that is the biggest robbery in the history of football.

if usa dont get the victory that "offside goal" will become infamous. That shit was ridic i need to see the angle because looked pretty damn good to me. Only way that is off is if the grass was cut in wavy lines.

England should somehow try and convince Bielsa to coach them. It would probably be a shitshow but would be a lot of fun.

Very midtable premier league. Foden as effective as you'd expect in a system designed for Kane to drop deep and have the inside forwards run beyond him. Especially with no real tempo being set from midfield. We aren't really doing anything to open them up. Very lethargic, very sloppy. Wales have dug in and we have shown very little idea of how to deal with it.

Get Saka on the right, move Foden central so he can find Kane, tell Kane to play higher up.

Really, England haven't forged a team dynamic since the Euros, it's been a lot of rotating of the newer players since and nothing is gelling.

Jury is still out on Spain.
You can still say they are a bit weak in the box, were it matters but they will be dominating every team they face and can play very good footy. It’s the team I don’t won’t my teams (France and Croatia) to face. Anyone else would be ok.

Pretty shocking game we were all probably expecting of can't play vs won't play.

Happy enough to get in to half time 0-0, just wish we could actually stick a proper counter attack together at some point. As has been the story of the tournament so far, Ramsey needs to feck off for someone who can actually run.

Wales need 4 goals? Zero shots on target and 25% possession so far. Not looking too probable.

Iran is not very good and it should be 3-0. I could see Iran giving up and the score ends 5-0. McKennie and Weah do not look very sharp. Sargeant is playing great.

US midfield is looking really impressive. Looks so much better than the back-passers in the England midfield.

The picture I saw he was off with his knee.

Don't really agree on McKennie. It was his ball to Dest for the goal.

What makes you think it's a North American problem? I think there's a general lack of great goal scorers in the world today
I guess I identified the North American national sides because they’re otherwise so good. They create their fair share of chances, but just don’t put them away. Canada against Belgium being a good example.
Could say the same about Asia as well. There is just something in player development that does not take strikers enough into consideration.
Good point, there’s definitely a similarity there.

So USA is calling it a soccer tonight?
Wales: How did they make it to WC is beyond me. Up there with Qatar and Costa Rica. At east they are not pretending that they are not shite.
England: So much talent wasted under SG... Foden is doing well but they need to play like France, with more attacking players with a proper CF. Why the feck is Kane playing in midfield when they are dominating Wales with finger in ass? Borefest.

Can't see them dominating France or Brazil. They looked sloppy at times to me last game.

Nah. It's just a matter of trying to nick a jammy odd goal win and hoping the other game finishes as a draw.

Doing anything else would be suicide, we just don't have the level of player to come out with mental swashbuckling football. The average level of players is basically something like Chelsea vs Nottingham Forest.

I'd fancy the US to beat Netherlands. They've looked impressive so far - probably most impressive in this group.

Well done by the US, another good half.

They have arguably been the best team in this group. If only they had a striker….

Did anyone ever see Sky Football in 3D when it ran, I know 3D TVs didn't really catch-on because of the glasses I guess. Similary curved TVs - which I never thought were great unless you lived alone and could sit right in front of it.

But I'd love to know from anyone, what was 3D football like, was it anygood?
You can still download a few premier league matches from Sky3D on rutracker if you wanna give it a go. It's basically 2 screens side by side

And some people would have you believe England have a £200m midfield pal. Talk about getting carried away.

I wonder how Southgate will try to sell us this as a good point gained. We'll get spanked the moment we face a big team.
