Another boring display from England. There is no midfield play at all. Everything is focused on the wing where there is far less space and lack of movement to truly open the defense up. Counters are the only tactic and it isn't working.
From a United perspective, Shaw and Maguire have done well. It's still too slow in passing out from the back but I blame that on tactics. Rashford has been far too casual, given the ball away cheaply multiple times. It seems he's better utilized as an impact sub for England.
