12 goals in 15 games says he's far from done.Kane is done IMO. Should see out at his career at Spurs.

Yeah would be a serious statement buy for the new owners, however Levy is maybe the toughest negotiator out there. If we're sold by the spring (which is the estimated time if you believe todays reports) by people with deep pockets, he's totally going to be someone they look at. What a statement.
And he's more than just goals. I can see he age well as footballer.12 goals in 15 games says he's far from done.
Yeah he doesn't do reasonable,be amazing to have him down the middle with Gakpo/Rashford on LW and Antony on RWWould love to sign him this summer, but I just don't seeing Levy being reasonable.
Conte is using Kane in every game, wouldn’t be surprised if he has a down year next season or get permanent problems from being over used this season. Kane has played like 6 more games than Dalot had before the WC even started, and we all know how hard Dalot was used…Considering Ruud lasted until he was 32 at highest level at Real Madrid and he had his first top division professional career at 21 years old in eredivise (so not exactly a late bloomer like Vardy), may be Kane would be similar around 32-33 years old especially considering that he's been carrying Spurs on his back with Son and that could take a toll of him unless if he is a freak. I'm not a sport scientist so I can't tell but the signing has very high risk.
I don't pay attention on his pressing under Conte and Mourinho (those managers don't do pressing on the high line), but he was pressing under Poch like Cavani was here. There was never in doubt with his work rate when he was working with Poch.Do people not realize Kane doesn’t press at all? You’d have the same issue we had with Ronaldo where someone else has to do all of his running for him.
Yeah you make a very valid point,we probably should be looking at someone who can press like Osimhen/Sesko etcThis may be harsh but I'm not keen on the idea of spending big money on him.
I can't recall many players who were past their physical prime so young that they had to completely change their game. And to be fair, he's adapted his game incredibly well - his passing, creativity and decision making on the ball is top notch. The issue is now he's a specialist in the sense he really needs a certain set up around him with pace either side who can run in behind for him to slide his passes to.
He drops very deep and I'd worry he'd be crowding Bruno's space, and Bruno is going to work best with a striker who's making runs to pick out, rather than dropping deep into his area. Kane's lost a lot of his traditional threat of challenging centre backs and running in behind the opposition defence.
He also looks very laboured in his pressing these days if that's what you want from your striker, I don't see him suddenly returning back to a more energetic style of play in his 30s.

I agree with your sentiments, but it is worth noting he has 12 premier league goals in 15 games for a manager hardly known for playing all out attacking football. So while he has changed his game, he is still scoring for Spurs anyway in the league. I don't think we are pursuing him simply for the reasons you point out re Bruno, but Kane will still chip in goals no matter where he goes. This may be harsh but I'm not keen on the idea of spending big money on him.

Agree with this, although I disagree that Bruno needs a constant runner at striker (a la Rashford). I think Bruno fits best with someone similar to Martial that can do both, because when Martial or another player drops deep Bruno can make his patented runs over the top that he loves to make and fill in the vacated space. This may be harsh but I'm not keen on the idea of spending big money on him.

Work rate comes from the player’s attitude itself and if the player has the right attitude then it will never change because that’s how he was developed for many years since he was young by Poch.Bingo
RVN and Kane are totally different cases. RVN had the one serious knee injury, but Kane has had repeated ankle injuries. Think they quoted 7 on the game the other day?Considering Ruud lasted until he was 32 at highest level at Real Madrid and he had his first top division professional career at 21 years old in eredivise (so not exactly a late bloomer like Vardy), may be Kane would be similar around 32-33 years old especially considering that he's been carrying Spurs on his back with Son and that could take a toll of him unless if he is a freak. Would be perfect for the players we have out wide especially rashford.Would be an incredible signing, but think he will want to go to a team that guarantees trophies and CL challenges e.g. Bayern.
I can't think of another striker who has had his passing range on top of being a top-class finisher. Very unique player.
Wholeheartedly agree, would be a magnificent signing and transform us into a completely different proposition. The slander this guy gets is unreal, he's a bonified top 5 elite striker yet gets talked about like he's a mid table trundler who's been on the verge of retirement for 5 years. Actually pisses me off
If you can get him for under 80 mill you do it, no questions asked

No doubt the same people slating him would be wanking themselves silly if he signed for their team. The slander this guy gets is unreal, he's a bonified top 5 elite striker yet gets talked about like he's a mid table trundler who's been on the verge of retirement for 5 years. Actually pisses me off

He has hardly missed a game in over two seasons now. He had a period over a year when he had a lot of ankle injuries but other than that he has played a shit ton of games. His injury record ain't so great though and at his age £80m would be a risk but then again we're United we always overspend eh bro.
He ranges between 34 -50 games per season for the last 8 seasons. His lowest appearance total is 34. He got 38 too before that otherwise his appearance total is fantastic and he's a mainstay. His injury record seems exaggeratedHis injury record ain't so great though and at his age £80m would be a risk but then again we're United we always overspend eh bro.
Really? You think Kane wants to play outside England? Don’t see it for a second, appears to be yet another Englishman with zero interest in leaving his home.Would be an incredible signing, but think he will want to go to a team that guarantees trophies and CL challenges e.g. Bayern.
Fortunately this summer is indeed when he has a year left on his contract. Agree he’s the ideal signing. His passing is just insanely good for a number 9.The ideal signing. Would make us challengers for the next 3-4 years. We need a striker this summer though and I reckon Spurs will wait until he has a year left to budge.
Hoi! You're right. What's a realistic fee for him? Surely Spurs wouldn't say no to £80m when he's only got a year left.Fortunately this summer is indeed when he has a year left on his contract. Agree he’s the ideal signing. His passing is just insanely good for a number 9.
What are we supposed to be learning from that would tell us signing Harry Kane would be a disaster? I don't see a precedent.Don't we ever learn, this would be a disastrous singing.
The ideal signing.
If he stays fit and maintains his current level for 3-4 seasons he would be great...but given he's at Spurs, he'll be hideously expensive no doubt. I can understand people preferring we drop that kind of money on someone way younger, but he's as close to a guaranteed top striker for us as you can get. I reckon £60m defo, but fear he'd cost c£100m.This would be a disastrous singing.
Totally agree would be worldie of a signing, maybe replace him with Mbappe after he has done the Madrid thing which knows sounds pie in the sky.Would be perfect for the players we have out wide especially rashford.
Seeing Bruno run off him too would be ideal. Would love him at united
