So with Weverton on, Brazil has players entire 26 men squad already. It never happened before in the history of world cups

Korea needed a bit of luck to make this game interesting, didn`t get it and the game was dead after 15 min.
still some nice joga bonito in the first half from Brazil. Third goal was absolute class.
They are streets ahead of Croatia as well.

I'm 95% sure Van Gaal used everyone when he subbed in Michel Vorm in the game for third place against Brazil in 2014.

Looks increasingly likely one of our lads will be a World Cup winner, if not already.

It’s also about no one being out injured and able to feature
I know, but I think he used the entire squad in 2014. Though Im not entirely sure. I cant find anything on it :wenger:

Edit: yes I found it, he used the whole squad.

Only if Holland, France or Argentina wins it. It may also be two of our lads (Portugal) or three of our lads (Brazil or England)

Lack of experience playing big tournaments finally caught up to asian teams.

South korea should have started kicking the brazilian players to disrupt the flow of the game and punish the tricks, once they get comfortable it is game over otherwise.

Sourness not even bothering to try and pronounce the South Korean players names. “That guy” got fouled.
It's astonishing these casual racists are on TV. We have a similar guy here, who was on about wild way of playing by African teams etc.

This pundit is more obsessed with Serbia stopping Brazil than Linekar is over Walker stopping Mbappe. Weird obsession!

First it was Klinsmann and his Iran remarks and now this. The slight on Asian football is real!
It’s unbelievable. What’s worse is no one sitting there ever calls them out for it. Usually just an awkward silence quickly followed up by a change of subject.

Sourness might be old fashioned and a bit thick sometimes, but racist he's not.

Brozovic with record of World cups; distance covered 16.7 km. And this guy smokes:eek:
Your fellow countrymen never fail to up their game by a level or two at the biggest stage. This is one reason why I no longer regard Croatia as an underdog team. They ride their luck at times, that Belgium game is a very recent example of this, but they plod along regardless and as a result are often awarded with positive results -- from defeats into draws and draws into wins.

Sosa will need to be fit against Brazil, though. Play that Rangers fraud Barisic again and I could only see one outcome!

France and Brasil. Only two teams for which i hoped that we will avoid. Our journey ends on friday.
Unless we produce some best display in years.

You're right, this team has a huge mental strength and confidence. Right about Barišić too, je tries but he's just below average if not awful.

Also Liva is the 3rd keeper to save 3 penalties in the world cup after Ricardo in 2006 and Subašić in 2018.

Perišić became with todays goal our top scorer in big tournaments with 10 goals.

Mental first half from Brazil tonight but Korea were so naive.

Thought a couple of minutes in they we’re going to get battered because they were trying to go toe to toe with them.

Yeah because of Covid, you can make 5 substitutions. Literally many clubs can try to fill up all 26 players if they choose to.

**

Croatia are the king of penalties now. But likely they won't get into shootout anymore.
