Ah yes Caf logic, got itYep, apparently needing a modern striker to play in a fluid, attacking way only applies when it’s criticising one of our own

Many Benfica fans last year were warning that his big goal scoring season was a bit of an anomaly compared to his normal level of finishing, which was the main reason I was wary of him when we were so heavily linked.Technique is so bad that you question how he got this far in his career. He has good movement though, he will score 15 goals or so this season but will cost Liverpool some valuable games
Nunez is playing as a striker whereas Rashford has been predominantly playing on the wings. This isn’t that crazy as an opinion. Nunez has 9 goals and 3 assists in 19 appearances this season.
United’s top scorer is Rashford with…9 goals and 3 assists in 20 appearances. Rashford is also two years older.
Nunez clearly has issues with technique but he’s been no worse than United’s best output this season.
Rashford is rinsing players while playing himself back in form after last year. Apart from Newcastle he hasnt fallen into the bad habit of missing easy chances. This isn’t that crazy as an opinion. Nunez has 9 goals and 3 assists in 19 appearances this season.

It’s like people pretend we can’t see Nunez playing football. It’s Lukaku all over again, we are consistent with this type of player.
Plus Rashford more of an inside beside forward anyway, it’s like saying you’d take Nunez over Diaz or something ridiculous.
Go read his take on Ronaldo and United the. Tell us he doesn’t have bad takes or this lack of consistency

Nunez has started to play from the left as well but position is irrelevant. The question is whether United would take him, and right now he doesn’t seem to be any worse than your current striking options.Rashford is rinsing players while playing himself back in form after last year. The problem with Nunez is what you’ve paid for him.Nunez has started to play from the left as well but position is irrelevant. The question is whether United would take him, and right now he doesn’t seem to be any worse than your current striking options.
Rashford looks good now but he’s had a very up and down career and is two years older. From what I’ve read on here, he can frustrate with his decision making in the final third.
Martial is injury prone and you don’t really have anyone else. I’m not sure what your chance creation is like compared to ours but ETH seems to have you trying to play on the front foot and creating chances. Nunez would probably get a decent number of chances at United.
So, you're trying to get rid of him?Nunez has started to play from the left as well but position is irrelevant. The question is whether United would take him, and right now he doesn’t seem to be any worse than your current striking options.

Or Forlan at United….He feels like i'm watching a bloopers compilation from Cavani's time at PSG. Amazing.
Liverpool create far more chances than United. I bet if you looked further into the stats you see a far higher goal to shot ratio in Rashfords favour. This isn’t that crazy as an opinion. Nunez has 9 goals and 3 assists in 19 appearances this season.

Well he does have a point, it's hard to have a trait of being in the right place to get the chances than it is to finish. You can spend time training that no problem but trying to practice position would seem like a mental thing. You either have it or you don't.Yet he rates Donkey Kong
Gakpo has exactly that and he’s arguably a better finisher and will cost 50m less..Well he does have a point, it's hard to have a trait of being in the right place to get the chances than it is to finish. Would I want him though? Not a hope.
This is why football is more than stats. This isn’t that crazy as an opinion. Nunez has 9 goals and 3 assists in 19 appearances this season.

Not sure about that. He’s proof that 100m doesn’t get you much these days, especially when it comes to strikers. He will clearly get goals because his movement is excellent, but holy shit, he’s unbelievably poor technically.
There have been more failures than successes for players of that pricing range when you look at the past 5-8 yearsNot sure about that.
Was silly by Liverpool and there was a reason no other club was willing to pay that much.
Very true, although i don’t think that’s proof you need to spend more or the market has shifted. Just poor scouting and overpaying. There have been more failures than successes for players of that pricing range when you look at the past 5-8 years
yeah because he's shiteDon't have much to say, I hope he will develop himself in a lot of departments to be a better striker and player.
I agree. If anything, it shows you really shouldn't a lot of money for players who have a lot of question marks over themVery true, although i don’t think that’s proof you need to spend more or the market has shifted. Just poor scouting and overpaying.
Maybe, and it's my new theory, the club and Klopp knew an oil country was taking us over last summer. So splash the money and if it doesn't work out he can be our Grealish on the bench. We'll just spend loads again soon, when we officially get taken over. Not sure about that.
