Letting Zinchenko go now seems like a pretty big mistake...

You can afford to sell such quality when you have a money cheat code as a club.
Meanwhile we are trying to rehabilitate AWB

Oh wow what a surprise.
I loved him every time i saw him in the last few years. He reminds of Lahm in the sense of being a "playmaker full back".

What happened to him this season? Why was he benched most of the time?

Doesn’t Pep like a new English young RB? Cancelo played LB as well though. So not sure about who has replaced him on the left.
Nathan Ake's been playing on the left. The young RB is Rico Lewis, don't really see the hype tbh.

What's happened with him? Fallen out with Pep? The guy was one of the best fullbacks in the league.

interesting to see if Bayern use him at right or left back, he looked dreadful as an orthodox right back at the WC, but they’ve got Davies for the left

Voted the best city in the world
Very strange how quickly he's fallen out of favour/how his form dropped.

Having signed Dias, Laporte, Cancelo, along with Walker, Stones, Mendy etc. felt like City had their defence sorted for years. Things change quickly in football.

Definitely RB, Pavard hasn't been a reliable option there and the only back up they have is a young Stanisic.

Maybe city will go for the next best thing in Theo Hernandez or something

Where would he play for you? RB?
Mostly i think, yes.
Pavard is in bad form and tells everyone on a weekly base that he only wants to play a center back (although he is not that good at it).

Mazraoui has been excellent for us as RB, but unfortunately he is injured and its not sure when he will be back. He has heart issues after Covid.

Once Mazraoui is back, i can also imagine Cancelo as LB. He's been great at City there and Davies has been underwhelming in the last 1 or 2 years for me except for his insane speed.

He's lost his place in the City team and for Portugal during the world cup, he's dropped off a lot this season.

Ake playing ahead of him at left back is a bit of a smack in the face for him.

I wonder if this is a bit of a power move by Guardiola, maybe showing some of their other underperforming players that nobody is bigger than the club?

Has Mazraoui not been able to find his Ajax form?
Oh right yea I completely forgot about him  He was actually good when he started getting minutes but he's been injured since the world cup.

Still think Cancelo is going to be a RB but would be helpful as a LB backup.

This time last season he was one of the best full backs in world football. Bizarre to just give him to Bayern instead of working on his game.

Ake is a big step down. Which is good for everybody else.

I'm not sure if he's fallen out of with Pep but his performances haven't been great this year. He was dropped from the Portugal starting 11 as well so it's not just related to what's going on at the club.

Something must've happend during the WC. He had played almost every minute in the league up until the WC, and only one full game since.

Ake is a much better defender. He just locked down Saka in the FA Cup.

Not the playmaker Cancelo is of course, but when Cancelo is off form that's not so relevant.
