Sabitzer would be a decent bit of business. Can be good on his day and has a good shot on him. Runs his socks off too. But he's not as good as Eriksen.

I honestly would rather have Jorginho. I know he's not well liked here but he's far more complimentary to Casemiro than Sabitzer would be.

Maybe Jorginho wouldn't be available for a short term loan though while Sabitzer would be, plus even if we want to make Jorginho permanent he would want a starting role, which we might not want to offer after this summer.

One of the main differences between us and Bayern is that Bayern would not accept McT even as a groundskeeper for their 2nd team's training facilities.

I really like Becker, who interestingly enough is an Ajax product but left before Ten Hag took charge.
Didn't know that! Ajax really are like European football's academy at times  anyway hope they keep it going!

Sky Sports saying Bayern and the player prefer United
Always liked Bayern.

I'm surprised by this to be honest. He's a very different midfielder to Eriksen in that he's not as technical or as good at passing as Eriksen is.

Eriksen's role this season as been the player to help us keep possession when previously we would struggle to when put under pressure, also the ability to play through the lines and open up defenses from deep.

Sabitzer isn't that type of player, he's not as calm on the ball as Eriksen is and will push forward more. He's definitely more energetic than Eriksen so he will cover more ground, but in terms of providing us someone who can hold the ball in midfield, he won't be that and that's what we will most without Eriksen.

Sabitzer was mostly playing the offensive third at RBL and his skills were more rounded in terms of dribbling, passing, shooting than Eriksen's, which were more focused towards playmaking and why he's transitioned to a deep playmaker well, not sure Sabitzer can.
You cannot replace Eriksen like for like. Sabitzer would give us a lot of good options.

Jorginho has already joined Arsenal

Don't think Chelsea would have sold him to us. Arsenal are a bit more palatable because they're title contenders and a million miles ahead of Chelsea, whereas Chelsea will be hoping we slip up to boost their top 4 chances.

Give us your thoughts?
Very good player, great transfer for you.

He never really arrived in the Bayern starting 11, had a mediocre first season, a decent spell in the team at the beginning of this season, but nowadays is more or less last in line in our midfield behind Kimmich, Goretzka, Musiala, Gravenberch.
But at least he made his childhood dream come true..

He deserves to play regularly, but it wasn't going to be for Bayern and with Laimer joining in summer he was always going to be the first to let go.

The good old sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe too much malakia.

People will take you opinions as gospel now since you are from Munich.

United dont have £12M to pay Chelsea for Jorginho

The point is your example is flawed
It shows that Chelsea are willing to spend more than us on loan deals

but we all know they have way more money than us to spend so I don’t know why we’re even having this discussion :)

Would he fit with Casemiro Bruno and Fred quite well?
I think so. Casemiro and Bruno are irreplaceably good players anyway in our team. Having an extra pair of high energy legs next to them helps them out - as Fred does so when he's partnered with them.

Cheers. any more specific details as to how you could see him fitting in with Casemiro, Bruno and Fred?

Like the look of this signing, seems like an ETH type of player, if not a like for like replacement for Eriksen.

Casemiro was a panic buy also according to Merse and he’s worked out OK.

An Austrian playing for United would make me all giddy. Would be a decent option for the squad too. Was impressed by him at Leipzig and lately for Austria. Shame it never worked out at Bayern but he's simply not good enough to break into that midfield.

I honestly watched more German football when I was in Pakistan  Getting married changes priorities

And I can get why we didn't go for Jorginho, to many other factors.
