Scrappy game, but good fight on show to get the 3 points... especially as we insited on trying to play them in on our goal as much as humanly possible.
Yeah real spirit shown in these two games against Leeds albeit very different waysScrappy game, but good fight on show to get the 3 points... especially as we insited on trying to play them in on our goal as much as humanly possible.
What form? The form where they beat a shite Villa team or a Spurs team with a bottom of the table backline and keeper?vs Leicester or they will do us in the form they're in.
Be nice if Villa can take something from Arsenal on Saturday (unlikely) and we can recover from Europa hangover on SundayWhat form? The form where they beat a shite Villa team or a Spurs team with a bottom of the table backline and keeper?
Here is Leicester's form before those
2-2 Brighton
0-2 Forest
0-1 Fulham
1-2 Liverpool
0-3 Newcastle
Not really. He was invisible all game. Was one of the primary points of halftime analysis. Same invisibility extended to the second half. Glad he popped up for an assist at the end of the game. Doesn’t negate the invisibility for the rest of the time he was on the pitch. And yet he managed to be involved in build up play and hold up play.
One win and suddenly Leicester in some sort of brilliant form.Cant keep starting Weghorst, he has none of the quality or intelligence to be a number 9 for 90 minutes, at this level he's a 15 minute per game player at best. And having Maguire and Bruno in the same defensive half together is just one disaster after another.
Also Sancho looking like a £72m Elanga clone.
Rashford and Shaw carrying us. Need to be so much better than this vs Leicester or they will do us in the form they're in.
Nope. Only invisible to people who don‘t pay attention. He is not a top striker, but does what is asked of him.Not really. He was invisible all game. People seriously underestimating what Eriksen was doing for us before being overused/injured. Sabitzer and Fred look so flat playing out from the back and the tempo was then set by the CBs…which is not Maguire strength at all. Eriksen makes angles to receive the ball better and moves the ball quicker. While losing Casemiro is one of the main reasons we look vulnerable…losing Eriksen is one of the main reasons we are not dominating the ball or looking as dangerous.Great win in a hostile environment. The players must be buzzing!
These back to back Leeds games has shown how big a miss Eriksen and Casemiro are though
We had no control over midfield, whether being an option to receive the ball or initiating moves with quality passes...
Just relieved we came good at the end. On to Barcelona
Ha. Ok. Well, good talk. I’ll just that say that given the analysts and his post game rating on here, there don’t seem to be many people who agree with your opinion.Nope. Only invisible to people who don‘t pay attention. He is not a top striker, but does what is asked of him.
You look silly, saying that Weghorst doesn‘t hold up the ball well or lay it off and missing he had an assist. Obviously you are not paying attention.Ha. Ok. Well, good talk. Nope he's wrong, no probable anywhereIt touched Maguire's head (with Wout already offside) before touched Leed's arm. But you're probably right.
I agree there are marginal improvements in Weghorst play each game, these are not earth shattering but they are there, he is obviously listening to what the coaches are saying. You look silly, saying that Weghorst doesn‘t hold up the ball well or lay it off and missing he had an assist. Yep, I see that now.Sabitzer cannot play against Farca. He's banned for two yellows from the CL game. So it's back to the Brazil duo.
Uefa website says he's suspended. He'll be available for the 2nd leg.I thought the rules allowed sabitzer to play. Remember Dalot played against us in Milan match
So there is no such thing as being cup-tied in EUFA?Uefa website says he's suspended. He'll be available for the 2nd leg.
Think there's a maximum limit of changes that can be made to the squad in January. So there is no such thing as being cup-tied in EUFA?
