Where's the Saudi bid? I wouldn't be surprised to see that it is in the same ballpark as the Qatari bid.
That's obvious. This is a sportwashing operation, not a financial investment. The potential Qatari owners DO NOT want to make ANY money from #mufc.

I agree with this Messi is leaving in the summer, Neymar likely to be sold as per reports he is getting on a bit after all and Mbappe is on a short contract so won't be long will he's moving too.I think they will move away from PSG in the future
They only bought them to win the World Cup bid and the league interest is so low in Qatar
Pretty hard to build a CL winning team when you play in crap opponents every week
If you spend £5 billion on Man Utd in the best league in the world why have any effort in a club you got for £200m in such a boring league no one watches or cares about
Like the next time they want to spend their money on a Mbappe I would assume they would rather transfer them to us
Apparently no one in Qatar watches the French league and they only bought PSG to win the World Cup bidSo if we go head to head for a player which both PSG and United want, who will be preferred?
So this Qatari consortium isn't as wealthy as we hoped huh? Would Ineos actually be the better option?
Is the article not about the guy in the centre of the photo? And if not, who is the guy in the centre of the photo?Tariq wrong there. Our guy is the son of the center guy in the photo.
Assuming it is the same people which I think we all are. PSG will be absolutely dead in the water. This is like owning a Corsa and a Ferrari and saying which one would you want to drive more.So if we go head to head for a player which both PSG and United want, who will be preferred?
I don't think you can under the new FFP rules. It's linked to revenue nowAbsurd money. If you think otherwise then you're dreaming. See PSG.
Well the people buying United don't run Qatar so that puts paid to that, doesn't it.Coming from a country and running a country are very different things but then you already know that.
I dont understand, but I respect your opinion. Is it a dream come true because of the investment in players we'll receive?
Look, I don't like the fact that to be competitive every big club needs a sugar daddy/oil state owner; but I'm pragmatic enough to understand that is the way the game has gone - City and PSG were just the beginning. I'm not going to say it's 'better the devil you know' with the Glazers, but at the same time, I'm never going to celebrate United becoming a sportswashing project for a state with an abysmal human rights record.
I don't know? Just trying to explain to those that get caught up with the net worth of the official bidder. It's very common in GCC that they set up subsidiary funds to the sovereign wealth fund. They can't use QIA or QSI due to PSG ownership, so probably set up a completely new and non-related fund chaired by a guy noone knows who is - and giving him carte blanche from the QIA accounts - because the state really wants to own UnitedSo we should be happy about basically fraud ownership?
They have sold a stake of PSG. The club's now worth a few billion. It's pretty good returns financiallyApparently no one in Qatar watches the French league and they only bought PSG to win the World Cup bid
There's rumours that they want to sell a stake in PSG as well
Yeah but years down the line shit like this that they are putting out, while all the while being bankrolled by the same lot who own PSG, makes it all a bit murky and suspicious. Please tell me people aren't naive and reading too much into the official value of the QIB. They'll be getting funding from elsewhere as well.
Where are the other bidders? It’s proper bizarre nobody else has done any public campaign.
There's no reason to think we'll hear about all the bids today.Where are the other bids?
Not awkward here, mate! This is the awkward part where loads of people have to do a U-turn with their views on state ownership in football
You really believe that? Yeah and they've nothing to do with the lads who own PSG either. Pull the other one mate.Well the people buying United don't run Qatar so that puts paid to that, doesn't it.
That’s what I’m starting to think. They’ve all withdrawn.Done deal? Hence no others?
He’s clearly a mouthpiece.Because despite the fact the bid has only just gone in, he knows exactly how our budgets will work.
STOP THE COUNT
