1. He vetoed the buy because his heart always wanted United.
2. He will sell them and concentrate on United.
3. He goes incognito wearing a false beard and moustache to lead the singing section.
4. A canard spread by Qatar.
5. He was a boyhood friend of Graham Young and he plans to put thallium in their coffee over time just so he can watch the remainder of Avram's hair fall out.

Jim is the man!

If what Roades said is true (I believe it is)then I would fully support the INEOS offer, providing Qatar refuse to increase.

Roades is a BS merchant, knows nothing! In fact, the 'Muppetiers' are an embarrassment to the Utd community.

**__Daily Muppet 13/10/23__**

*INEOS Offer*
- New discussions over the last few weeks.
- Orny & Bloomberg both stated that INEOS are in the lead over the last few days.
- INEOS want 100% of the club. (Not _just_ the Glazers shares).
- The aim was to buy out Glazers and then in the long term get those other shares.
- INEOS feel they have had a broad agreement with the Glazers for around 5 months & that it's higher than the Qatari valuation.
- However, they have had to get creative with the structure of that bid.
- There has been in person discussions over the last week.
- INEOS feel they have a viable offer on the table for the club that is acceptable for the Glazers & meets their valuation.
- It is an initial 25% offer, however, it does include route to, not just majority control, but 100% control.
- There are multiple options of how INEOS gets to that 100%.
- But this offer would be done with stipulated options in place to ensure INEOS will complete a complete 100% takeover.
- There will also be stipulations over control of certain aspects of the club. eg: Money put into the club to cover _whatever_ will indeed cover what that money has been put into.
- Simply an alternative route to 100% ownership.
- INEOS do not want a share of the club that they can then flip.

*What next?*
- INEOS will present this formally.
- We are getting to the point where the board could vote on this offer.

*Timeline?*
- Won't take that long. Potentially a few weeks or a month.
- Unsure if this would be public.
- If this isn't accepted, James believes we will just enter a dead end.

*Locker Room*
- Some players do believe there is favouritism within the squad.
- Most players, however, have remained professional.
- There are players who have raised their concern, but it's nothing unusual within a Football Club.

*Targets*
- Inácio.
- Looking at both LCB & RCB & a Case replacement.
- Looking at wingers as well after offloading Sancho.
- Won't spend big in Jan.
So nothing on what /how much Jim would invest in us ? Not just on transfers but on infrastructure side ?

Weird comment.
His clothes are decent. I was honestly impressed. Looks like he's been shopping at All Saints.

His wife on the other hand, ouch. Looks like he's been fishing in the same gene pool.

But weird to comment on his clothes. He's just out and about in NYC.
So he’s out and about with his sister is he? What an ugly family and who puts a dog in a pram ffs?

Huge news from Romano. Apparently Sheikh Jassim is going to withdraw after another round of talks was unsuccessful.

Looks like the minority stake with Sir Jim is going to happen. Perfect for the Glazers.

Rob Dawson also saying now Qatar have withdrawn. Looks like a potential brief and looks like Qatar really is out.

This is honestly the best news story United have had in months. Couldn't stomach a sports washed club.

This is it for me. Been following United for 35 years but this is it. This is the final nail in the coffin. The club is dead now and wont ever come back. Fecking sad.

Why can't we have nice things.....

Anyway looks like Jim is our only hope so hopefully his bid has him taking control in the next few years

Don't know why some of you are so upset. If Qatar wanted the club then they would have got the deal done. They didn't.

Ineos will own 100% of the club eventually. Folk should be happy, but people don't have the patience for that. Being flexible/creative was the order of the day and Qatar were not prepared to bend.

Couldn't give a damn about Jim either but genuinely prefer not to be state owned.

Well either way the qataris have withdrawn which means its Jim or the Glazers or both together. If those are the options I prefer Jim on his own. Unfortunately minority investment seems to have won the day.
It will end up being minority bid now, 100% of the club later down the line, if the Glazers do any deal at all.
