Big day today.
No no no, Easter Sunday is still 6 week before us
Big day today.
That's my worry too. There is no way we can maintain the same intensity as Newcastle especially after playing a game 2 days ago! It's so mad, the players had a huge game against Barcelona on Thursday night, wouldn't have gone to bed until long after midnight with the adrenaline, then get one day of rest, then next day travel down to Wembley, then the match on Sunday. I'm crossfaded but that just seems like such a toll on the body and mind. If we had 2 days more between the games, I'd be feeling super confident about this. As it is, I am a bit worried about Newcastle's energy levels compared to ours but not worried about them on a football level.
I wonder if he’ll freshen the team up, especially in midfield, and perhaps play Sabitzer from the start? That's my worry too. There is no way we can maintain the same intensity as Newcastle especially after playing a game 2 days ago!
Martinez was there signing autographs until midnight! It's so mad, the players had a huge game against Barcelona on Thursday night, wouldn't have gone to bed until long after midnight with the adrenaline, then get one day of rest, then next day travel down to Wembley, then the match on Sunday. Why would he start if the first choice players are fit? Don’t see the reason. Especially when he can play the FA cup game Wednesday and others rest for the week.Maguire has been talking a bit much, I have a horrible feeling he might start.
we could do that with our usual line-up - playing all those players out of position is more likely going to hurt us than them. Why take the risk when the familiar line-up is proven and just beat Barca?I just think we'd blow there defenders away with our quick movement especially the big 3 at centre half and left back. They wouldn't like Garnacho in behind.
Thought the same thing.Maguire has been talking a bit much, I have a horrible feeling he might start.
Yep! It's best for all of football that we win.You guys need to win. Can't let these geordies get any kind of momentum with winning things.
Saint-Maximin always has a good game against us when hes fit too.De Gea, Dalot, Varane, Martinez, Shaw, Casemiro, Fred, Bruno, Antony, Weghorst, Rashford.
Sancho and Garnacho excellent bench options should rashford get moved centrally. I think if Fred and Casemiro nullify Guimares, you take a huge amount out of a Newcastle team that already struggles to create. Breaking them down is the real challenge, hopefully they have some jitters with new GK and while theyre resolute they arent an especially fast back line.
I'm not confident but I'll optimistically go for 3-1 United
Agreed. Until you join the "dark side" and become state owned I hope you beat the likes of Newcastle.Yep! It's best for all of football that we win.
There is of course the possibility that ETH doesn’t want to risk Varane and will play Maguire instead. Two intense matches in a short time is not ideal for him, however Maguire and Martinez would probably struggle with their speedy forwards so I don’t think Maguire is an option.Maguire has been talking a bit much, I have a horrible feeling he might start.
He's behind Lindelof and Shaw as backup, the only chance he has of starting is if the four ahead of him pick up illness on the way to Wembley.Maguire has been talking a bit much, I have a horrible feeling he might start.
Kieran Trippier: We’re gonna cheat, cheating is great, Diego Simeone taught me how to be really good at it.I bet their tactics will involve time wasting till it gets to penalty and hope for a 50:50 chance to win it as opposed to 70:30 without penalty shootout.
Rashy tried to kill themI think Rashford is not injured. At 2:05 is his car
The same car as this one:
What a knob, remember him rolling back onto the pitch injured at OT.Kieran Trippier: We’re gonna cheat, cheating is great, Diego Simeone taught me how to be really good at it.
I really, really hope we batter these fecks today.
Howling at the kid. Who's that? Who's that? I know him.I think Rashford is not injured. At 2:05 is his car

The brazenness is astounding, we all accept it happens to some degree and expect ourselves to do it a bit. But to celebrate it as a virtue and for it t be your main game plan … get in the bin. What a knob, remember him rolling back onto the pitch injured at OT.
Yeah but they spent some time with Simeone so it's fine? The brazenness is astounding, we all accept it happens to some degree and expect ourselves to do it a bit. But to celebrate it as a virtue and for it t be your main game plan … get in the bin.
Does anyone know who the referee is today because I feel like this is the sort of article that should be posted to themKieran Trippier: We’re gonna cheat, cheating is great, Diego Simeone taught me how to be really good at it.

This interview is part of his shithousery. He is trying to frustrate ETH and players in advance, and get them to focus on the wrong things. When they start to disrupt the game, waste time, etc it will have extra psychological effect if we start to be concerned about it already now.Kieran Trippier: We’re gonna cheat, cheating is great, Diego Simeone taught me how to be really good at it.

Could do, but could also alert the referee to what they get up to as well. It could backfire. Also not sure if it is in the clubs interest to go from Lucky Old Newcastle being bought to Cheating Newcastle the Scumbags. This interview is part of his shithousery. He's be joining up with them even if he was out though. It's a cup final. The whole squad will be going.I think Rashford is not injured. At 2:05 is his car
