"Hijo de puta tú" Vinicius shouting several times at the ref.

The kid has serious issues, he REALLY needs to calm down.
It is so damn frustrating, knowing he can play ball. He is overworked and stressed out ever since that Atleti game and it shows. And Ancelotti does feck all.

Yeah he's loosing a lot of energy by being pissed off at pretty much anything. While I totally understand his behaviour when he receives abuse, he's clearly overreacting to anything now and it's detrimental to his game.

1 goal in the last 11 La Liga games, it's just not enough, especially since Benzema isn't in god mode anymore.

Expected result, didn’t give away much chances if any. Attack is the same old story, Benzema and Vinicius ain’t got it this season so that is pretty much a killer. Vini really needs to get out of his own head. I can understand when it is the racism and the kicking and tackles, but he is so easy to get riled up in other areas as well.

Overall, these LaLiga games are just to keep them fit at this point.

I hate spanish refs with a passion. It's not even that he went against us - though he did, how we didn't get that penalty on Benzema is beyond me - but just the inconsistency, the calling little non fouls and ignoring clear ones, the completely arbitrary use of cards - Camavinga was booked for what exactly?!?! -

Anyways, story of the season, create enough to win, miss the chances, fall into chaos and make dumb decisions, Ancelotti needs to have a talk with our midfielders, tell them to be more proactive on the ball. Wingbacks are a problem still, Carvajal seems to have lost it, Camavinga is genuinely good going forward but is also just not a wingback and can't defend and we don't protect him in behind so it matters, plus he's also just not quite good enough not to care. Might be time to try something new. A back 3 maybe, and free Camavinga offensively down the flank?

Had no idea Valencia was in this much trouble. Peter Lim is a toxic, horrible owner, no wonder G Neville is a big fan.
Press conference a month ago.

Video

- You have trampled on the emblem of our grandparents, The fans no longer believe in you and they don't want you in Mestalla. Why do you want to continue? Sell, go away.
If you don't know how to manage a club, dedicate yourself to petanque.

- You are not ashamed to hold on to the position you were recently appointed to and maintain the lie?
With all due respect, do you know what you are in the club currently? Are you clear about your role?
When you go to bed at night do you know that your work is useful?

- Haven't you considered in some of those meetings that you work completely badly?
Hasn't it crossed your mind that you could be the problem and not the solution?
This is how things are for Valencia.

We got very lucky. It was a clear penalty for Valencia in my opinion and again a bad performance + Araujo red card. The team is physically in a very bad state right now and we need our key players back.
Lucky sure is a good euphemism.

still the best team in la liga, stop crying
Do you ever show any sign of humbleness? Any of your post, wether it is about Argentina or Barcelona, reeks of entitlement and pretention. One may think that a supporter of a team who failed in the CL 2 years in a row with almost instant elimination from Europa league after, while in the middle of a scandal for paying 6 millions to the VP of la liga referees, would show SOME signs of moderation but here you are, doing constant victory laps while your team is playing terrible football (since the WC because it was good before that outside of Europe) in the worst La Liga in 25 years +.

I really don't understand this clubist blindness, I have absolutely no probably saying that PSG plays mostly like sh*t for months, that the club is a mess and that our Ligue 1 title means pretty much nothing.

You forgot that Barca is a poor victim in a global conspiracy.

We have looked mostly like crap since the WC. La Liga is the worst it has been in decades. We are the best team in La Liga. All of that is true.

Barca got away with Valencia not getting a pen but they also outplayed Valencia and deserved the win. Valencia were horrifc and an xG of .86 is terrible. But you just love to get on the outrage bandwagon. Barca have had just the 13th most penalties in La Liga this season yet you never complain about that.

Do you ever post anything besides crapping on Barca in every single post in this thread? You are way off the mark when it comes to Xavi and you essentially talk crap about Barca even when they win with 90% of your posts in La Liga. I have always criticized Barca when they play like crap.

Take a breather, your obsession with Barca is pretty sad. Xavi has done a great job this season and it pains you for some weird reason. Worry about the french league instead.

And ligue 1 may be a crap league and your oil club may not mean much for domestic titles, but la liga means something to the fans even if the league is in a downward spiral. I can't help you if all you care about is CL in which case I can see why you are so bitter.

Cheers.

EDIT: Didn't mean to come off like that, my bad

Poor game once again, Ancelotti will probably be gone after this season. It just isn’t good enough. Very uninspired and poor all season long, just cruising on individual moments. Hell, we are basically FC Vinicius this season.

Hoping Perez doesn’t feck up with the next manager by picking another Benitez/Lope. And we need signings.

Thought we had a 20 minutes spell in the first half that was actually good.
Not much to write home about otherwise, i don't know why Carlo starts without Alvaro now that Benzema is out though, we have no presence in the box.

Not impossible since Real is a different team in the CL but HIGHLY unlikely in my opinion. Benzema was a huge factor in last season's miracle and he's nowhere near this level this year.

But Vini is. Also, no all time great City or Liverpool sides left to beat. I'm actually quite confident against everyone bar City and maybe Chelsea

Vini doesn't score in La Liga. He obviously had an amazing game against liverpool but scored 2 goals over the last 12 games in the league, he's nowhere near Benzema's magic that could score a header from anywhere in the box or create something out of thin air. As I've said, not impossible but really unlikely unless you think every game will be like the 1st one against Liverpool. As Bayern showed against PSG, Vinicius alone won't be enough and you'd need several players to up their game consistantly to claim another victory.

Any chance we can rent Mbappe for the rest of the season? :nervous:

But yeah agreed, Benzema was magical lst season but I also feel that the team was stronger. Giorno is right that other teams are poor as well, we’ll see what happens. But I don’t know if it is fair to expect Vini to take us to another CL title.

Ahah you'd need to convince him to play on the right wing ^^

It's also my impression. Modric for exemple is having a hard time sustaining high intensity every game and he is still THE key player in your midfield. You haven't replaced Casemiro and if Camavinga/Tchouameni/Ceballos can have good games, they can also have a night off. You'd need a serious planet alignement but everyhing is possible in football.

You're right though, no team is totally dominant but City, Chelsea, Bayern or even Napoli are tough opponents.

It's frankly insulting that you are using PSG as an example of anything involving Real Madrid

It's frankly pretentious you think you can be quite confident if you face Bayern Munich. Guess some Real Madrid fans think they're owed the CL title, that it didn't take a miracle (partly called Benzema) last season to achieve that and that it never happened to your team to loose 4-1 at home to a 20 year olds team from Amsterdam (for exemple).

The lack of humility always amazes me.

Yes, bring on Bayern. We need to remind them who is papá. Hopefully with some good brawls.
If we lose at least the president will watch Davies and Musiala

Don't see us losing to Bayern. They don't play the kind of fast paced, high intensity stuff they used to, at least not with the same organization, they have holes everywhere, if barcelona could play them off the park and even this frankly pathetic, soulless psg side could give them a game, we smash them.

Nice chat, but there is a game vs Liverpool to be played next week, and as far as I know they can still qualify.

3 goal disadvantage I know, but that didn't stop Juventus from scoring 3 at the Bernabeu in 2018, so I don't see why Jekyl and Mr Hyde Liverpool cannot do the the same.

My prediction. Liverpool to score 2 early in the game and extreme suffering for my soul.

This relegation battle is insane.

Mallorca will probably go down on something like 43 points!

Indeed.

Only 3 points between Valladolid (13th) and Almeria (19th). Some people would say there are just 7 teams trying to escape from 2 positions leading to relegation, but clubs above 13th aren't really that much ahead.

Even Elche have picked up significantly since the new year although they're too far back to realistically stay up but not a walking three points anymore, Valencia and Sevilla have away games to them in the run in.

Barcelona's first half very weak. In line with the last matches. It costs a lot to play and advance with the ball controlled from behind. A lot of inaccuracy in several players when it comes to controlling and passing the balls.
