Edwards for me but don't know with the point deduction. If viewed as a whole Edwards won for me. Nullified the wrestling mostly and won the standup.

Edwards 48-46 for me think he outclassed Usman overall and it told in that the fight was exactly what Edwards would have wanted rather than the ground fight Usman would have wanted.

I think the right call. Usman didn’t do enough

edwards got that one in a million chance in the previous fight but looked the better man tonight

Honestly? Usman’s aura is well gone. He looked very pedestrian. I reckon the injuries have robbed him a bit, and at 35 it’ll be gone for good

Well judged. Would have been criminal to give Usman that just for plodding forward and landing a few messy takedowns that went nowhere. Only one guy was effective with his work.

Very dignified Usman.

I think he's going to struggle to come back. His knees are notoriously bad and he now has to wait at least a year for another shot, which he mightn't have at the very top of his game.

Fair play to Edwards. He actually fought better this time than in the previous fight. Razor thin margin that could’ve gone either way, but given that he is the champ, the burden was on Usman to win more decisively and he didn’t, despite the point deduction.

He’s probably finished imo. 35 and lost two on the trot, it will probably be at least a year or more before he gets another title shot, at which point he will be a bit too old to win the belt back.

That body work from Leon paid off big time, Kamaru didn't look to have that stamina advantage late in the fight that he usually does. Very competitive though and it's good to see Leon be so successful with his takedown defence because the contenders are all wrestling heavy unless he can somehow convince the UFC to feed Masvidal to him.
