Nicevertel me hoe goed het voelt
Nicevertel me hoe goed het voelt
That happened in two different seasons and only Martial and Rashford got over 20 goals that season.Martial and Greenwood had their best seasons under him. Not even Ten Hag has gotten what Ole got from Bruno. Unlocked a consistent Rashford as well. Imagine that, signing a player that was so successful that he could successfully build a team around him! The cheat!
We had a front 4 that all scored 20 goals in a season with a sub in Cavani that came close behind them.
The quality of this season was worse than those two season yet here we are, touching 5th place.
it’s not as easy as Ole made out.
And you have no idea if lower clubs care about cup competitions or not. Does only the CL count if you want to manage fecking Crystal Palace?
Yeah that's my point ? What are you talking about ?Martial and Greenwood had their best seasons under him. Not even Ten Hag has gotten what Ole got from Bruno. Unlocked a consistent Rashford as well.

Bar getting stronger, Greenwood didn’t actually improve much in his game.Yeah that's my point ? What are you talking about ?
That's exactly what I said. Crystal Palace don't give a shit about him finishing 2nd and 3rd with United while splashing 300m to get these "achievements". They only care about a manager who can grind out results with midtable squad and keep them in the league every year. That requires a manager that can actually work with average or below average players, squeeze the best of them and know how to grind results. Does Ole serve this purpose ? No. Does the likes of Moyes serve it ? Yes.
Meanwhile top clubs also won't give a shit about a manager finishing distant 2nd and 3rd and winning nothing while splashing 300m. That's where Ole is.
Rashford is at his best currently under Ten Hag. I'll give you Greenwood but that's about it. That's 2-3 players he has improved over the course of 3 years. Hardly an achievement for a midtable club with an average squad to look at.
You could just exit the threadJesus Christ we're not starting this shit again are we? "He's a shit manager who deserves nothing." "No he's not." "Yes he is." "No he's not." "Yes he is." ad nauseam for another 15 pages until everyone gets bored and pisses off for another three months until this nonsense starts again. Let it go for feck sake.
Or I could comment on how it's just the same thing again and again. You could just exit the thread
Why is that?Feel sorry for Brugge fans..
Why is it debatable? That happened in two different seasons and only Martial and Rashford got over 20 goals that season.
Oh and that 2nd bolded sentence is definitely debatable.
It's so lolz, ha ha haDamn this place loves shitting on the guy.
And I can comment on the pointless of posting on the Caf yet here we areOr I could comment on how it's just the same thing again and again.
Maybe the same posters who have "Jose is my hero" tatoo on their arse"Damn this place loves shitting on the guy.
I don't think there's much difference in the quality of those seasons. The competition for the top 4 is tougher this time than in Ole's first full season where he got 66 points. Why is it debatable?
Liverpool and Chelsea weren’t in 8th and 11th place, in fact Chelsea won the CL in that second year.I don't think there's much difference in the quality of those seasons. The competition for the top 4 is tougher this time than in Ole's first full season where he got 66 points.
Pretty sure the Athletic had reported a while back he's had offers but he's rejected them all.Speaks volumes he hasn’t been remotely linked to a premier league job since.
I won’t argue our managers before him were anything but failures either but the gulf in quality from actual football managers in Moyes Mourinho and Van Gaal to Ole is just staggering
Ole is a better manager than Moyes. He was more of a success than LVG.Speaks volumes he hasn’t been remotely linked to a premier league job since.

Here we are indeed. This is obviously a thread for discussing Ole's future managerial endeavours, who he might end up with and how he might get so obviously there's wriggle room for speculating on his suitability for each job which is fair enough but why do people keep leaping in to heap shit on the guy for nothing? And I can comment on the pointless of posting on the Caf yet here we are
He might've been a better fit at Man United but I'd absolutely put him below those two overall (especially Van Gaal) as a manager.Ole is a better manager than Moyes. He was more of a success than LVG.
Yeh Van Gaal is absolutely a better manager who did worse than Ole at United. But I still stand by Moyes being shite. He might've been a better fit at Man United but I'd absolutely put him below those two overall (especially Van Gaal) as a manager.
At least that's what the world of football thinks given how Lampard and Marsch are still getting interest from clubs and Ole is not. That’s a lie and a half right there.
Doesn't matter, Arsenal took Liverpool's place and Newcastle are miles better than Chelsea under Lampard which is what Ole was dealing with for most of those two seasons at United. And the 2nd season was quite the farce with being behind closed doors and games getting delayed all the time.Liverpool and Chelsea weren’t in 8th and 11th place, in fact Chelsea won the CL in that second year.
It’s only Brighton who isn’t absolutely shit outside of the top 4 at the minute. It’s been an atrocious year quality wise in the EPL
No one that has anything to do with football would even mention Ole in the same category of Moyes and Van Gaal.Ole is a better manager than Moyes. He was more of a success than LVG.
You keep ignoring people telling you he has rejected offers. You just keep writing what you want to believe. At least that's what the world of football thinks given how Lampard and Marsch are still getting interest from clubs and Ole is not.
Well no because Ole had 4 years at United not 6 months. No one that has anything to do with football would even mention Ole in the same category of Moyes and Van Gaal.
Moyes has been a premier league manager for two decades. Van Gaal is even more successful having won trophies at the highest level throughout his career. Ole has no business next to these names.
Forget these two, Sam Allardyce has a better standing than Ole as a manager. If you want a proper comparison it would be champions league winner Di Matteo.
None of them has won the Tippeligaen, they are not fit to lace his boots. Now keep my managers name out of your f***ing mouth. No one that has anything to do with football would even mention Ole in the same category of Moyes and Van Gaal.

People were mainly talking here about United managers. I care what Moyes and Co did at United, not elsewhere. No one that has anything to do with football would even mention Ole in the same category of Moyes and Van Gaal.

Probably his Cardiff stint that’s really damaging him rather than United to be honest, usually I’d think he’d be linked with something like the Everton job but that’ll be what nips it in the bud. I’m sure he’s also pretty happy chilling out as well.Regardless of what anyone thinks about Ole, and everybody's made that perfectly clear, it seems a little ridiculous to suggest that any manager who has a 2nd place PL finish with any club couldn't get another job in the PL. Its more likely that he simply hasn't wanted one.
If reports are true, and why wouldn't they be, that he has received and rejected offers then this whole couple of pages are moot anyway.Probably his Cardiff stint that’s really damaging him rather than United to be honest, usually I’d think he’d be linked with something like the Everton job but that’ll be what nips it in the bud. exactly. Managers can also get better, and we all knew ole was out of his depth managing United at that time in his career but the guy is a hard worker and can very well accelerate his game. Here we are indeed. This is obviously a thread for discussing Ole's future managerial endeavours, who he might end up with and how he might get so obviously there's wriggle room for speculating on his suitability for each job which is fair enough but why do people keep leaping in to heap shit on the guy for nothing?
Fair enough if you think he's not good enough to be manager. And fair enough if you think the job he did at the club wasn't good enough. I ultimately feel that he wasn't the man to lead us back to the top and he definitely needed to go, especially on the back of that Watford defeat. But it's another thing entirely to suggest that no club anywhere will have the guy when it's been demonstrated time and time again that many top clubs aren't always choosey about who they go for and there have been managers of worse calibres who have had higher rated jobs.
But ultimately in reading this out I realise that nothing I type matters, no-one's going to agree with me and I'm ultimately going to be dismissed as a deluded, unambitious idiot who knows nothing about football so there was probably no point in even posting here but I wanted to anyway if only for the sake of my sanity.
Anyway I'd love to read about his suitability for specific clubs and where he might thrive but it'll be instead be that he's a shit manager and he was completely shit with us and all the tired cliches that follow.
Anyway I'm not saying anything major either way. Feck it, I'm going to get drunk and start a fight.
No he isn’t, Moyes is clearly a superior coach than Ole.Ole is a better manager than Moyes. He was more of a success than LVG.
No (He was backed with more talent though) and still won lessHe was more of a success than LVG.
