Same again for Thursday please Brighton. Can’t see it though against those beer bellies.
Be an interesting game that one. Can see it being like a 2-2 draw. Saying that though with Newcastle being at home they may edge it.

The Emirates looked empty 5 minutes before the game ended. Poor display by arsenal fans

Not even joking, the amount of empty seats after the season Arsenal's had is pathetic

Think it also shows that Arsenal do not have a big enough squad to compete with City, it is becoming a cliche, but until teams have their sort of squad nobody will last until the end of the season.

What the feck is Tyler on about, English fans should be proud of the league? City have won the last 5 of 6.

Our result against Brighton isn’t that crazy. We played a completely different game to Arsenal who tried to play them at their own game. We were happy to soak up their pressure and hit them on the counter (like you did) as they do expose themselves. We were just lucky that everything we did resulted in a goal.

City are on course for winning the last 14 games of the season in a row and winning 16 out of the last 17 with one draw.

It's just insane standards to have to keep up with. City's squad is such a massive advantage.

Fair play to Ramsdale for applauding both Arsenal fans who were still there.

Brighton absolutely destroyed Arsenal. That second half they controlled from start to finish.

Battle of cnut managers at the Emirates. Hate it when managers do that stupid knee slide. Wasn't sliding as much when getting dicked by Everton last week.

Also fun to see Gooners leave in droves. Would have thought they'd at least be there for the team. Surely they knew they'd lost the league weeks ago when they failed to beat Southampton here.

Around the same. Potter had 4W, 1D and 1L before he joined.
Yeah, had a look at it a few weeks ago and De Zerbi’s PPG was more or less exactly the same as Potter’s for the same length of time going back into last season. Basically he’s picked up where Potter was at without missing a beat but they were already on this trajectory.

Martin Tyler bleating about this showing it isn't a one team league while this result all but confirms 5 out of 6 league titles for a team that is on the verge of a treble, all whilst that team is facing over 100 charges of basically cheating.

He is absolutely done in this job.

Arse deserve credit for even being close tbh, or maybe just City were crap in the league. White is crap, Ramadale is average, and Jesus is seriously overrated.

They should've stuck with Trossard up top.

I’m really looking forward to Saturday now. Our last home game, the City Ground absolutely rocking, we need a win and Arsenal just blew the title and looked poor.

Brighton showing everyone how well you can build a high quality team with an effective system.

Make no mistake, they hire good coaches (who suit their principles), however, they buy and have seriously good players in that team.

Mitoma, Mac Allister, Caicedo are among the best in their respective positions across the entire league. Hats off to them

De zerbi didn't compromise, he put in a goalkeeper who can play to his style, he's got players who are working for each other and comfortable in possession especially the middle of the park

Wouldn't call it a bottle job, the just got beat by a better team on the day. I know people will say that they were so and so many points ahead at one point, but it isn't easy when the other team wins every single game they play. There's no room for slip ups.

Anyway, Steele is indeed incredible with his feets. For all the talk about how Ramsdale supposedly transformed Arsenal, he looked as bad as De Gea today in that regard, and he is also not a particularly good shot stopper.

Nope. A fair few can go toe to toe with City in a single fixture. Almost none can do it over a season and it’s unfortunate. Liverpool needed unbelievable injury luck to do it.

Good result for Brighton!
Hoping they beat Newcastle now and make United’s life a little easier.

need to win against Bornemouth to put this to bed! Come on United.

Liverpool, Brighton and Newcastle can battle it out for 4th on the last day of the season.

Let’s get this job done United

This should be the headline, but it's 'x team has bottled it'.

Since Pep won his first title only Klopp has got the better of him and look what it's done to Liverpool.
