After the 2 losses against West Ham and Brighton, it was very important we win the last 2 games. We had clean sheets in both games - which says a lot about how well this team is dealing with the pressure of a top 4 challenge.

No, they literally made that rule up when Liverpool won the 2005 CL but didn't even manage to finish top 4 in their own league. Would have been embarrassing for them not to have the holders in it the following season.

Important win today. Otherwise if I am correct, 3 points was needed from last 2 games. Draw would have become meaningless.
Obviously we should do, especially as both games are at home, where we’ve been very good. But say we lose against Chelsea - something well within the bounds of possibility - I would be extremely nervous about the Fulham game. We’ve got a team of mental midgets, who crumble under the slightest pressure.
One more point it is. Hopefully it's done in the next game and then perhaps we try to get 3rd place if Chelsea get something against Newcastle.
