What an absolutely toxic situation all around.
Same, although I'm open to selling him if we receive a large bid that reflects his footballing value (unlikely).I want Qatar and voted "Yes" here as well.
No, I'm entitled to my opinion and have expressed it respectfully. I also happen to agree with you. What I don't like is people making stupid generalizations about a subject that is not just black and white.Go away.
Ok. So you have the evidence which the courts didn't. Post it here or you are just insinuating and posting libelous accusations. You don't see why beating the hell out of a defenseless woman is on a completely different spectrum than anything you just listed?
What’s worse, the things he did or “cancel culture”?If we don’t give our youngsters a second chance then what’s next? For me as a father and grandfather he’s welcomed back because I don’t like this cancel culture.
Those that are trying to plead his "remorse", you wouldn't fight this hard for him if he was Scott McTominay.
No you didn't, you posted an eye roll. You could not possibly have thought I had any interest in such a response. You were being annoying. No, I'm entitled to my opinion and have expressed it respectfully. I also happen to agree with you. Could potentially work assuming he's still good after all this time. Not sure about Eriksen there for next year though, but that's for another thread.
Eriksen will never start a big game again after today. He will start against the poor teams that we dominate alright.
Wonder what percentage of the yes' here are pro Qatar and what percentage of no's are anti Qatar. Have a feeling it's similar in that one group cares about their morals over United success, and the other is 100% success and don't care about off field stuff. Everyone's entitled to their views.
I hope that in time you can get over this cruelty.I got a warning just yesterday for mentioning Greenwood. Grrr
Because you made a silly post.No you didn't, you posted an eye roll. You could not possibly have thought I had any interest in such a response. You were being annoying.

The courts fail to convict all the time, especially when it comes to DA. It's very rife in the UK more so than most would think. The vast majority of incidents don't even make it to the courts because of the circumstances involved i.e. unreliable witnesses and statements being retracted etc.Is it enough to say he hasnt reformed? Its very easy to judge but the facts are we dont know everything and the courts werent able to convict, without the full picture i refuse to cast judgement and will consider only the footballing element. That may seem shallow and I cant comprehend any facts eluded to the recording that would justify it but hes legally innocent and my interest in him is what he can do on a football field only, I cant judge him, I dont have millions of pounds at a young age and everybody around me telling me how amazing I am.
That's rape.
I'd say the opposite. Scott seems like a nicer chap than Mason even before this got out. I reckon the case against Mason is easier for many of us because of earlier examples of him being a tit (the daddy video being the prime one).
The real battle would have been Lingard. I could only imagine how that would have gone.
I agree.I hope lessons are learned, and i believe in second chances. I really hope he's sorted his shit out and the whole experience has been sobering for him. Any more silliness and he's gone before it even hit's the news.
Voted yes.
He's a young academy lad who made a mistake, he's not the first and won't be the last.
We need him more than anything, if we bring a striker he can rotate with him next season until he builds up some form.
Its telling. The voting results are... shocking.
We all have seen the evidence. Just because it doesn't get proved in court and situation changed doesn't make him less guilty for his actions at that point in time.Ok. So you have the evidence which the courts didn't. Post it here or you are just insinuating and posting libelous accusations.
My thoughts exactly. This man and his girlfriend need to come out with a huge interview to clear the air regarding this situation, and come with plausible explanations as to what happened. The audio evidence that is out there is pretty damning.
Otherwise he has to leave United and the country as a whole. He will be absolutely despised by everyone.
You can tell me that then. You can use your words and explain how you feel. Not eye roll emoticons.Because you made a silly post.
I'm not sure that's the best comparison though. If that was his level, a lot of people would want him out regardless, even if none of this had ever happened. The point was more about his ability, if he had the football levels of Scott McTominay I'd wager more people would want him out. The only reason why there is a conversation about forgiveness or second chance is because of his ability and I find this terrible.
I understand that, do you believe any former player has done such things or worse and it not be publically released? I do, which means the difference is his actions were out there for all to see and that has made it more real and harder to accept, id like him to come out and acknowledge it was disgusting and that he is seeking help and wants to better himself irrelevant of whether he comes back to Utd or not, not for his public image but out of sincerety as I do think he needs helpThe courts fail to convict all the time, especially when it comes to DA. It's very rife in the UK more so than most would think. The vast majority of incidents don't even make it to the courts because of the circumstances involved i.e. unreliable witnesses and statements being retracted etc.
The public does have something here, we heard the recordings and they are vile. It is enough for me to conclude what sort of person he is.
Some things are more important than football and this is definitely one of them. Of course I hope he reforms and changes but he can do it away from my club.
Quite frankly it should be done - there is way more to this than simply what happened when it all started.. but let's start there
I could go on, the thing is there is only one reason he will be brought back, and it's usually the reason that tops all others regardless - Money. The hierarchy of the club will see him as nothing more than a financial asset and if we basically let him go or sell him on the cheap they will see it as a waste. Personally I hope the club does the right thing and sells or releases him so that if he chooses to reignite his career somewhere else then so be it, but I do not want to see it here personally and I don't care if he smashes it somewhere else. We should be better than that.
Wout is uselessI'd rather stick with Wout than this guy.
I'm so sorry that my use of an emoticon upset you so much. You can tell me that then. You can use your words and explain how you feel. Not eye roll emoticons.

But not a woman beater.Wout is useless
