Rick Astley doing The Smiths is something I’m enjoying more than I thought I would.

Edit: he’s got a very Alan Partridge quality to him.
I never would have believed I'd sit through an entire set of someone I'm ambivalent about, singing songs from a band I've never been in to, but I couldn't turn it off. Rick looked like he was having a great time.

Not sure I've ever heard a Lizzo song all the way through before but enjoying this. Suits the timeslot.

Astley does a better Morrissey than Morrissey. Imagine if J. Marr rocked up... Then Hans Zimmer for Time. It could happen.

Somehow, Coldplay always make it to the Pyramid.

The flute feels rather more for her enjoyment than the audience.

Fair play to Lewis Capaldi. Not my cup of tea but to see him battle through what appear to be quite overwhelming ticks to deliver this set is something else.
Yeah was a bit uncomfortable watching that last couple of songs, clearly struggling massively poor chap.
Was his first gig in three weeks after having to cancel a load to try and get himself better and he said he's probably taking the rest of this year off now too, heartbreaking really, he looked distraught coming off. Even said "if I never get to do this again" at the end.
My Mrs just showed me a clip on TikTok of the crowd singing back to him whilst he was clearly struggling, poor bloody bloke.

If you haven’t seen it he’s got a documentary on Netflix talking about his mental health struggles and how his success has just created a weight around his neck and a constant fear of letting people down. It’s tragic but a really interesting and endearing watch.

Holy shit, Rick Astley as Morrissey, absolutely brilliant!

That's a proper Glasto highlight.

Anyone not watching G'n'R?

Think I'll watch Rina Sawayama, Loyle Carner and hopefully catch some of Fatboy Slim too.

Want to catch Leftfield but not missing Guns, it's one of those events that you can't miss.

Watching the crowd during central cee is quite something. Glastonbury is probably a 30-35 median age festival yet you look in the crowd during this and it’s literally just kids

 As if you didn't all know Axl was going to be terrible!? Switch over to The Woodsies if you're on iPlayer for a proper alt-pop superstar.

Beeb says the crowd at the Pyramid has shrunk considerably since Lizzo was on. Guessing a lot of people decided Lana Del Ray is a better bet than Guns N' Roses.

I can watch all, it's all recorded, and this is far from terrible.

I’m genuinely shocked she’s on the other stage and not headlining the main stage. Be €100 to see her in Ireland for feck sake.

Just turned it on and wow…wish I hadn’t

on a serious note, can someone explain how axl’s voice can change this much and is so much deeper than what it was? It’s like it’s lost all power and the tone is so different.

slash brilliant though

Rina Sawayama casually covering Limp Bizkit's Break Stuff there. Sure, why not?
