Gonna try and get tickets this year if possible. Not been since 2008! Fecking crazy how time flies.

I'd be up for seeing old Elton! :)

Haven't you already missed the boat on that?

Original sale is bad but its even more ridiculous in the re-sale

First year in a while I didn't bother getting tickets, price is extortionate, this year's felt poorly organised with dangerous crushes happening everywhere across the site, can't be arsed with that again.

Elton John being there only further vindicates my stance, can't stand the guy

Looking at the bands listed so far only ingrains my decision to not purchase a ticket.

Seen the Arctic Monkeys headline there before so not super fussed about that, would obviously go and see them though. Zero chance I’d go and see Guns and Roses though. I’d have gone to see Elton 20 years ago but he’s terrible now.

Guns N Roses will be one of those bands that will surprise imo, everyone knows at least one of their tunes, right set list and Slash and Duff, a night will be had.

My festival days are on their last legs, much like Elton John and Axl Rose, so it seems fitting that I should try and go to this. Hate that you have to buy fecking tickets about 9 months before they announce a single act.

Watching Maisie Peters on the Pyramid. I remember hearing about her being a YouTuber doing covers and went to see her in a tiny Dublin venue years ago. Mad to see her on the main stage at Glastonbury now.

Looking forward to catching AM tonight.

Didn't try to get a ticket this year as I refuse to pay over £300 and last year was so poorly organised in comparison to other years.

But man am I missing it now. Hurts to see it on TV when I know I've had some of my best times on that farm.

What was bad last year?

I've not been for a few years now, since the wife became a teacher (since its in term time) but I'm tempted to start trying for tickets again.

Over crowding, bottlenecks all around the farm, over pricing everywhere.
The latter is to be expected I guess, but the overcrowding was seriously scary.

There were several instances of certain stages/sections being closed down due to over crowding, I was involved in two crushes, one when I had my two young kids with me.

And unfortunately I have to say the atmosphere has definitely changed since the firat few times I went. There just doesn't seem to be the friendly easygoing atmosphere anymore.

I believe they have changed the layout slightly this year to combat the over crowding, but until they sort out the freeloaders getting in without tickets or overselling they won't eradicate it fully.

I'm watching via red button on sky q, just been watching CRJ and Pale Waves, you can cycle through the stages at will,
Pretty decent coverage.

Never think that I'll miss Glasto much when tickets and line up is announced.

Then the weekend comes and I'm reminiscing over past years again

Not a massive Foos fan, but watching them squeeze all the hits into an hour long set right now is unreal fun.

There's only five bands there I'd definitely make an effort to see. And that's pushing it. Maybe three I'd really try for. Glastonbury is brilliant and you can have an amazing time even without seeing many bands but that's pretty weak.

Los Bitchos, ADG7 and Gabriels for me.

Hozier on the Woodsies now is great. Voice is like butter.

Yeah, saw some of Gabriels too, very good, particularly enjoyed the Private Dancer cover.

Hozier was great.

Real intensity in his voice for every song.
