He's clueless and somewhat feckless. He's also appeared to somehow manage to misread the room as if going on TV would magically result in business as usual again.To me this just made it even more apparent that Putin has no idea how to handle this situation.

He's FSB and pretty much accredited with taking the Donbas in 2014 from what I gather, so a bit of a Russian hero I guess. He was on the ground there in the first days, taking the police stations and organising the 'protests'.Wonder what power that blyat actually has. Something I always wonder if there's any truth in; Bill Browder in his book talks about a contact he had, that helped him on occasion, who claimed to be FSB. This guy claimed there was a split in the FSB, as in its not all one happy family doing Putin's bidding. So guys like Girkin could be protected by a particular faction.
