Would have preferred Joises Caicedo but still happy with Jason Jount than Jctominay in our jidfield. Next signing Kolo Juani please. Do it Jurtough.
Feckin Jlazers handicapping us so I wouldn't hold my breath. Hopefully Jake Jassim gets a a hold of the reigns soon.

Well, I am not positive he is the answer to our midfield and my life is not little or sad.
If you want to come onto a website and rejoice in the misfortune of the team you're supposed to support, then I'm inclined to think that your life is both of those things.

When we were first linked with Mount, I was very underwhelmed. Now I’m convinced we’ve signed prime Rui Costa. Wtf is wrong with me.

Well, he'll definitely be useful. Versatile, young and prem proven. Doesn't exactly get the pulse racing and it definitely feels like we're overpaying when you factor in reported wages too, but will be a positive addition. Welcome mason, hope you go on to do great things here.

Mate have you seen the prices and wages paid for Grealish and quoted for Rice ? Let alone Sancho (sadly).

For me the fee is really good business for proven Prem / England quality. Just not sure how he will fit in our system.

It's an odd one.

I wouldn't have been the slightest bit concerned if he went to Arsenal or the Dippers. Yet I'm still somewhat chuffed at this.

Guess Im excited we just signed someone.

Yeah, I take your point, but given the length of time left on the contract it just seems mental. I think I feel that way also in large part because I have always thought he's a bit 'meh'. Decent enough but not much more than that.

Yeah this was a bad idea. Should have signed a midfielder in the calibre of Pogba, Schweinsteiger because that worked well.

Depends how we use him, I guess. Definitely not the most versatile midfielder, but a great addition to our current squad.

I just wonder how low we have stooped to be signing Chelsea academy products. Where have our youngsters gone?

That’s just it. He won’t fit our system. He’ll fit the new system that EtH has been wanting to play but didn’t have the personnel for. Basically 4141. Unless I’m as confused as I sound.

I don't understand posts like these. Is nobody allowed to question the transfer fee / wages or have concerns about what his role is going to be in the XI?
95% of them it was directed to don't question anything sensible, but just spew their own agenda without listening to anyone nor wanting to be reasonable. Just trolling.

Does anyone know how we amortize the +5? I have been wondering about these add-on fees, especially as it looks like a large part of any incoming Henderson fee will be in add-ons.
I asked this recently and it apparently only matters if it gets triggered. Then it gets amortized over the remaining contract at that point.

What are the chances that Bruno will eventually be dropped as I reckon we will bring in a deep midfielder to help with the build up phase.

Simon Stone saying Fred will likely be moved on and McTominay will also likely leave due to him not being seen as first team player. The Athletic are saying that Newcastle will come in for McTominay at some point.

We have Eriksen and Bruno. Surely money need to go elsewhere?
Eriksen is at a point where he shouldn't be starting 37 matches in a season and he would have started more given he missed 16 matches because of his injury. He also got to the point where he would hit a fatigue wall at about 70-75 minutes.

Eriksen will be great playing on the weekend with Fred & Mainoo/McTominay vs Luton Town while Bruno, Casemiro and Mount are rested for CL or playing Charlton in the EFL or FA cup with Fred & Mainoo while Bruno, Casemiro & Mount are rested for City

Those two just need to go.

Nothing about this tweet makes sense
It’s a bit of a weird description but Fred’s best run of form came when he was pressing high, well beyond centre mid. Mount makes far more sense in that role given he’s just as good at pressing but far more useful in advanced positions.

Yes he is the replacement for our attacking midfielder.. Fred
These football commentators are idiots as far as I am concerned. I tried watching espn fc and someone said they don't understand why we are trying to buy a midfielder because midfield was our strongest department, I quickly switched it off.
