Again, this makes no sense. If he's wrong, and constantly repeating that he's wrong - according to your logic, why would anybody pay attention to him? I'm not saying he has a red phone sitting in the boardroom of every club. But clearly he is very well connected. Whether that is to agents, players, or even just other journalists, he undoubtedly is well in the loop of many transfers.

No. He's a fecking grifter. An aggregator. That's his tactic. Reword information found by other journalists, add vague, non disprovable tidbits, post the same Tweet several times over few days for maximum retweets.

His business model is grand and he's very successful at it but its getting to the point of arguing wrestling is real if you can't see that's what he does. If people genuinely think he randomly became the guru of world football transfers two or three years ago then I don't know what to say.

You either think this man is connected to every agent and every player at every club in every country and is therefore in a position to give exclusive scoops on every single major transfer in a way that you're not minutely suspicious about - or you think he's a grifter whose successfully made a name for himself cleverly exploiting social media and fans insatiable desire for transfer news.

Jesus why does it bother you so much? It's so odd with all ye Romano haters. He's taking advantage of his popularity and I say fair play to him, I'd be doing exactly the same thing in his position. Who knows how long his popularity will last? Take advantage of it while he can.
