Taking him away from Liverpool will not just take away his goals, but they'll become low scoring team all together just like we are, because of lack of fear factor that he brings.

I am not sure if they are aware how much they will lose, and how difficult it will be to replace him, considering that they wanted to replaced Mane with the likes of Gapko and Nunez.

That will be a massive hole if he leaves, heard their after Bowen.. Better off waiting a season and then getting the replacement.

Lucky lucky bastards, this will no doubt work out for them in the way the coutinho deal did, they'll get £250million just as he's about to go off a cliff performances wise. Meanwhile we literally can't get a fee for anyone.

Liverpool are mad if they don't move on from him. That contract is going to look diabolical soon, take the huge fee, get the wages back in.

We've seen some shenanigans from Chelsea and Newcastle (obvs City as well) but if a Liverpool man like Stevie G ends up signing am over the hill Salah this summer for an insane fee questions have to be asked don't they.

You’re confusing clubs.

Gerrard manages al Ettifaq.
The club interested in Salah is al Ittihad.

Slippy manages a different club. But questions have to be asked regardless because he's a cretin.

Nobody is stupid enough to pay that for Salah.

Not really, he's a massive star in the middle east, besides he wouldn't be managed by Stevie g regardless.

Al-Ittihad are the primary club in Saudi I believe. Stevie G does not manager them. He manages Al-Ettifaq

Liverpool have to take that deal. They won't ever see anything anywhere near this ever again. Klopp's system ensures that there will be minimal drop off in Liverpool's competitiveness.

Has it been reported how much they are offering? I know that he's important to Liverpool, but the guy is 31 and quite explosive. His level could drop at any moment now. If they offer something crazy like 120 million then surely Liverpool have to take that deal? CL qualification is only worth 15 million anyways and he's probably their biggest earner too.

Wat's the deal? How much are they offering to Pool? The only one I saw was 240M for Salah and not Pool.

This. He’s past his sell-by date, just like Coutinho. Liverpool are masters are selling at just the right time. They did the same with Torres and Suarez.

Theyve let their last great team get old together. If they did know they’ve forgotten years ago.

Last year was more than a minimal drop off.
Same that season they scraped into the top 4.late on.

Depends on whether he’d put pressure on Liverpool to sell now that he’s allegedly agreed personal terms, though you’d imagine the same offer would pretty much be on the table next summer as well.

I know their hand was forced with Suarez but how can you possibly say they sold him at the right time? He was unbelievable for Barca, he's something like their 3rd top scorer of all tim!

Torres and Coutinho put in a transfer request and Suarez was running out of opposition players to bite. There was nothing masterful about these sales. It was their only choice.

Its best for both parties for liverpool to sell. Honestly speaking, there is no way in the next 2 years that any other team will win the PL beaide City. They are at the top and still be able to buy more to strengthen. Nobody can catch them. Its best to sell now and build to challenge again next 2 years.

If they get £100-200m for him this will be the Coutinho thing all over again and they'll end up probably better long term than if he sees out his contract with them

who do you feckin think ?
if they got 200m for him that would be a good deal for Liverpool. If they could get a Mitoma type in quickly to replace that would be a good deal too. Liverpool fans I know like him for his goals but think his attitude is off at the moment.

This is how I see it as well. World class and aging player in slight decline, they will replace him with someone who will kick on and probably be on the same level as Salah in the coming seasons, they always do.
Rather they keep aging and unmotivated player than get a huge amount of money

There's no reliable links for this happening. They are playing a Saudi-owned club at the weekend. This is, in summary, a load of bollocks. Even Dejan Lovren has commented as much.

To be fair, I didn't realise Ornstein had posted this :

Klopp has commented saying there's been no movement anyway. Convenient they play the Saudis this weekend

Im not sure about that. Let’s not forget Klopp made Salah what he is. When Liverpool bought Salah, it wasn’t even a certainty he would be a regular starter.
He didn’t make Salah at all, Salah was tearing it up before he got to Liverpool for Roma and Fiorentina. Salah wasn’t a Klopp signing so he didn’t want him initially but he realised immediately how good he was and he’s carried Klopp for large parts of his Liverpool career.
