tbh most of this is woodward - appointed by Glazers granted
Glazers also take money out each year and put nothing in while other owners in the league are putting own money in to increase FFP budgets and so on
Glazers also sanction some buys and sales and so on, nothing will really change until they are gone, leeches that suck the club dry! it is not a football club anymore but a dried up cash cow for them

Well the fact that wealthy owners can offset FFP loses of upto 105 million over 3 years, and they have invested 0. Means it's also there fault

I had so much hope for this window after the cluster feck of previous years, but this has been just as bad if not worse.. hard to feel in any way optimistic for the club atm

Looking for Eric
Mount is not a luxury buy, he's there to fill a hole we had in the first XI.
I get he's not your choice but he was the manager's and after learning the system he's looking to implement I actually think Mount fits well there.
The problem is the other 4 or 5 players that do not fit the system.

Makes sense, he was never good enough for United. A solid right-back who could have a decent career at a level below us

He's our number one midfield target.
Our number one midfield target was Mount. We are in the market for an inexpensive backup now.

Looks like the private jet was booked because Matty wanted a company funded trip to Florence.

It's a crime what the Glazers have done to our club. How are Manchester United of all fecking clubs this skint?
And the shits are still clinging on to the edge of the bowl like a... Well, you know.

Hope he brought his begging bowl
It will be sorted - worst case scenario we will agree a loan fee of £4-5 million with an obligation to buy for £20 million or so in 12 months. That will be well within our FFP-limits

If Hugill makes it to be a PL level striker something will really have needed to click and changed for him, don’t see it really.
Agreed but I would have said the same thing about Cleverley and McTominay so .. especially Cleverley. He never really impressed me - but he often played left back at the time

Obviously anyone interested will just wait now as you dont have to have the window open to sign an un-attached player. Greenwood will just have to wait 3 months until playing again but clubs will choose that 10 times out of 10 rather than paying a fee.

I laugh at the way some of us on here turn up their noses at midfielders clearly better than the crap we have. You act like we are prime Barcelona or Manchester City. Wake up and smell the coffee. This is not the Manchester United of your youth. We're getting overrun in midfield by mid-table and relegation candidates regularly now. Most midfielders in top 5 leagues would improve us let alone the leader of two teams that got to a world cup semifinal and a European final respectively in the last 9 months.
