May not be the best thing for his market value to burn him with half a season to go until the next transfer window.

Surprisingly poor emotional intelligence from ten Haag to not foresee that Sancho might react like this.

I imagine he’s done here. We will look to loan him somewhere in January and then sell in the Summer.

I'm on team Ten Hag here. Sancho is a fecking waster who should be playing futsal not football.

It’s pretty damning for Sancho. I’m surprised that ETH has come out with the statement, it’s not like him to be so blunt and damning over a player. It attracts more attention to the club when we perhaps want to knuckle down and work to get results, it’s now two weeks of the media having their way without the club being able to win a game to keep the attention off. However, in contrast, Sancho, for all his obvious ability, hasn’t been cutting the mustard for the team, it must be obvious in training that he isn’t cutting there either, it might be a last play by the manager to get a reaction.

The only thing Sancho can do is get his head down, work hard and earn your place back, let your football do the talking and show the manager that he was wrong. The social media response was completely the wrong way to go about it and will not help his case.

Imagine if this was Mourinho throwing his players under the bus in public...
Nah there’s nowhere to go for Sancho on this

The manager doesn’t have an agenda if he’s picked a third keeper ahead of him on the bench then publicly called him out then something has happened this isn’t a TMZ gossip page it’s professional sport and he’s been dropped

I hope he throws every single player who won’t put in the work under the bus tbh

He hardly threw him under the bus though did he? He was asked why he wasn’t picked and said he didn’t impress enough in training, that’s it.

Considering how ten Hag is pretty reserved with actual barbs, I must imagine he felt his options in private has run out.
I consider ETH being good with dealing these things. If he says out loud, it must be pretty bad.

But them again, many here saw that it would happen months ago.

ten Hag isn't going to call players out publicly that listen to him and put effort in. Antony works his arse off as we seen today. Sancho can only dream of putting that graft in.

Once again we are airing our problems in the public domain ?

Why ?

Setting ourselves up to be ridiculed AGAIN

Completely normal and reassuring thing to be happening weeks into the season.

Kind of understand Sancho being frustrated by ETH's comments but this isn't the way to respond. There's only going to be one winner here and given the frustration from fans at player power at the club, hearing another player complain publicly doesn't sit well.

Imagine if Mourinho let a player go to Netherlands and train for 2 months during a season and protected said player from the media

He is clearly at the end with this guy

Sancho doesn't come across as a character to stir up trouble and ETH has previously shown a lot of support regarding his absence and physical recuperation last season so I reckon it's something more than what's being revealed on the surface.

People who criticised Jose for this and are now defending ETH are being hypocritical tbh. A manager shouldn't be criticising individual players in public. People will take to social media and start abusing them. I'm sure Sancho has received a lot of pretty horrific comments in the aftermath. If Sancho isn't performing well in training or there are other attitude problems then ETH should be keeping that private.

I mean it's a joke Ten Hag having a go at any player saying they have to be performing to start at this club when he is picking Antony every single week

We really have had such weak narcissists on our books in recent years. Lingard, Pogba, Rashford and now Sancho all guilty of this. This guy was afforded huge leeway by the club last year considering the money he was on while not playing - and his performances generally have been absolutely apalling. It takes some degree of narcissism to take to social media to call out a manager

Give me a break. Ten Hag sent him on a 6 month sabbatical to remember how to be a professional footballer. He's let the manager down. He helped get Ole sacked too

He was called out at Dortmund too. Seems a terrible trainer and it shows on the pitch.

He's had priors at dortmund. Well publicised that he is lazy and tardy.

No surprise its carried on here. Has not improved at all since arriving. Physicality, skillset. All pretty much the same as the day he arrived.

Can't hack the physicality of the prem.

To be fair, Antony's issue is a lack of quality, not a lack of effort.

Antony’s been great over the last few games.

ETH was silly to make this public.
Trying to deflect attention away from getting beat again.
Remember when he outted Rashford for being late to training. Remember when he let Sancho go to another country to train for months during the season?

True. He is limited in quality but gives his all. Sancho on the other hand - Mentally weak, physically weak, no desire, passion or drive, same as rashford only rashford has moments, one of our worst ever signings. Cant wait to get rid.
