Excited for this. Yeah we may get beat but that's football. Champions league nights against the very best clubs doesn't get much better.
100%! Love it when we play in the CL and who knows a surprise or lucky win tonight could be the turning point for the season.

Also a good measure of where Casimero is at the moment. Champions League against a top team like Bayern with a really strong midfield. Peak Casimero had this kind of games in his pocket.

Guess we will see something else tonight  If so, that first season could prove to be really expensive in we only got one good season out of him.

Have some faith man! We've won harder games before.
    We got this.
We have no chance. But I'd like to see:

    Onana
    Dalot Lindelof Martinez Reguilon
    Casemiro McTominay
    Pellistri Bruno Garnacho
    Hojlund

Is Mount and Varane with the squad? I know they were training yesterday or is it too soon for them?
Too soon. We only have 5 fit defenders in the travelling squad and that includes Evans.

Amarabat is not ready as well.

No turned on him or anything like that. I'd just like to see Garnacho for this one. Press will be super important for us unless we wanna just hang on and counter all game.

"By far our most dangerous player". 1 goal in 5 games.
Haven’t nearly all of Garnacho’s goal involvements been on the counter? He’s also not started games well so far, for me.

Also, I think that one of Garnachos strengths is his pace, but if he's playing on the right that will easily be cancelled out by Davies. I can't think of any player that can keep up with Davies at full sprint.

Not saying we won't still play on the counter, but just that Garnacho is better in the press so will help us not rely on only the counter. Agree hes not started games well. He's not had many chances either though.

No. But a large section of this forum seems to have turned on him.

He really doesn’t deserve to be dropped for a big game though

Exactly this. Who knows. They need to go and try and play, be brave. Won't be an easy night but playing bayern shouldn't be easy. Looking forward to it.

I'm still not over that Robben goal. If Rafael hadn't gotten sent off I reckon we'd have won the Champions League that year.
I don’t think anybody is just like Bayern fans are still not over the 99 final. But it’s hard to say though that we would have won the CL that year. Mourinho’s Inter was possessed that season. 2003/04 against Porto on the other hand hurts the most, we would have definitely won the CL in 04 . Haven’t forgiven that cnut Costinha and that cnut Ref:mad:

Fussball fact: Bayern Munich is a club from Germany, a country located slightly north of Australia and their citizens are often seen moving back and forth between the two neighboring countries via a pedalo.

Honestly not expecting a win but at least lose with some pride. Results are no doubt important but what the fans have been complaining is the perceived lack of effort and playing as a team. Get the basics right and give some basic respect to the travelling fans in particular.

Kane will be licking his lips, honestly this will be too easy. We seem miles away from the team that knocked Barca out of the Europa last season.

Squad looks paper thin. I'd try and start with back 5. McTominay has played back there before. Shock the world boys.

True, Scholes was so far onside vs Porto! I do however think we would've had the firepower to beat Mourinho's Inter in 2010. We swept them aside with ease the year before - granted we had Ronaldo then and they didn't have Eto'o.

This is what I want to see, keep it tight, be well organised, no silly mistakes and try and stay in it at least.
We will be the total opposite though, casual at the back and concede a sloppy goal in the first 5 mins, it is so predictable now. I still watch every game hoping that we will see some fight though, glutton for punishment.

Our form has to start from somewhere. We were shitting ourselves last year before Liverpool at home. I don't think we should panic from previous games but trust we have quality to hurt them and just need to stay organized.

What's the plan if one of Dalot or Reguilon get injured at some point in the game? Evans on and Martinez LB?

We’ve scored 6 goals this season and he has been the key factor in 4 of them.
That is a shocking stat. The thing that impressed me the most with ETH's time at Ajax was the amount of goals they scored and their GD.

Just please keep the scoreline respectable and not humiliating. Won’t be surprised if we go with a diamond midfield, just to not be overrun in the midfield like we’ve seen a fair number of times now this season.

    McTominay - Casemiro - Eriksen

    B.Fernandes

Even though I'm happy Harry is at the club, I just can't seem to get excited when he does press junkets. It's always just so A4 typical responses to every question. Maybe that's what we need at FC Hollywood though.

Happy he was surprised of how good Bambi is though.

VAR did a crap job that night missing Scholesy being onside for two nil and job done.
And to think, the world would never have heard of Jose bleedin' Mourinho either! :houllier:
