    Id like to see

    ———-Onana———-
    Dalot Lindelof Reguilon
    ———Martinez————
    -Casemiro—Bruno—
    ———Eriksen——
    Rash—Hoj—Garnacho

Never going to happen but after last weeks disaster may aswell shake things up.

    No Maguire, Mount orAmrabat either.
Oh for the love of god no. The actual stuff of nightmares.

I've bet against Utd for the first time ever tonight. Over 2.5 goals and Munich to win. Honestly think it's the easiest money I will ever make.

Welcome to the club. I've been betting against us for years

I look at it like paying a fee for actual results. Works out well tbh.
It's the only way I could get excited for the game tonight.

I either get money or a pleasant surprise at how we play  I really am expecting a loooooong night.

United are going to win! I feel it. The players will make a statement! Putting 5p on a 1-2 victory!

Win, draw or lose, it's nice to be in the CL again.

With the other CL games being very winnable, this one will be what it is.

We’ve been shit but I don’t rate Bayern that much. I think we’ll turn them over personally.

We find performances and it’s obviously going to improve at some point, and nothing like a big away tie to do it. I’ve seen us written off similarly against PSG or Barcelona away and we've found results and performances and I am quietly confident about tonight.

If we concede early it could feel ominous but I think we can given them a game.

That's always been my dads model. He always bets against his team (Hødd), if they lose he wins money, if they win he doesn't give a shit about the money.

I've tried this and it's rubbish! It splits your loyalties and find yourself hoping united concede? Then inevitably it ends a draw and you get the worst of all worlds.

    Bayern Munich 3—1 Manchester United
    Manchester United 1—1 Bayern Munich
    Manchester United 3—2 Bayern Munich
    Bayern Munich 2—1 Manchester United
    Manchester United 0—0 Bayern Munich

If McTominay is going to play, which I think unlikely after his lack of application at the weekend, then I think in this game it needs to be alongside Cas in a deeper role trying to do a bit of what he did at the start of last season, a more destructive role. Going to be tough in there if Ten Hag goes with Cas-Eriksen.

No good solution, wonder if Hannibal might start just for some energy to help Bruno.

Bayern are beatable today, just doubt our players are in that space mentally to do it.

Sane and Musiala are my main worry but everywhere else we are likely to deal with very well.

This is the type of game Unscripted Bruno and OneTrack Rashford should stick to their natural tendencies. Their strengths are perfect for away game like this, especially in this period we are at. Football is a sport of INSANITIES and these are the type of games you continuously do the things you are best at.

As much as it goes against my wishes of how I want United as a team to play. Today I need our best players to deliver on their biggest strengths.

0-2 or 1-3 to United. Come on lads.

I don't think Bambi (Musiala) will start. He got 30 mins vs leverkusen after an injury, think he will get 30 mins again today replacing Müller who takes that #10 role. Sané however has become what rashford should become. A previously egotistical offensive player who now tracks back and helps with press.

I hope we get, but more importantly I think we actually need a performance tonight.

There’s no shame in losing at Bayern, but if the manager cannot get the players to unite and show something with their backs against the wall in a big, high profile Champions League, which everyone should be inspired by, then this might continue to nosedive.

I want to see real fight, hunger, desire from the players and I want the manager to ensure that this match does not pass us by, with the opposition being proactive and us freezing.

Just saw that we brought 4 Gk and 5 Defenders. Have we really lost the plot? Bringing 3 Gk for a single match is already mental and we brought 4. Isn't it even better or common sense to bring a few reserve/academy players than a 3rd/4th GK that has 99% chance of not playing. I expect much better management from ETH unless he is making a statement to the board by doing that to show he needs more reinforcement for the backline.

We'll do well not to rival Arsenals performances against them under Wenger.

Just be happy that you don't have to play them in London, where Gnabry would score three or four.

Gnabry's performance vs english sides is the only reason I would start him before Tel.

Even though goal difference throughout the group is way down in the tiebreaker now I still think the way to go here is parking the bus and trying to hit them on the counter. You come out of this one with a 1 nil loss or maybe you get lucky with a counter attacking goal and leave with a positive result. Last thing ETH needs right now is another away hammering.

Completely agreed, it's simply stupid to select a 4th GK but only 5 defenders. GK number 4 hasn't been used in the history of football.

I've genuinely never had less confidence going in to game. I usually believe that anybody can beat anybody on a given day..... I really do not see it with today with this Utd team. Our first CL game in a while, away at Bayern, injury crisis and team that is renowned for crumbling.

Very much hope I'm wrong and I will be supporting Utd even though I've money on Bayern. I just cannot see a world where we get a result.

My only issue is we aren't as solid as we were last year against Barca defensively. We are much more vulnerable due to Casemiro being a step slower and Licha not quite being the same force as he was pre-injury so far, so I fear we'll concede chances.

I would park the bus and hit them on the counter. ETH is an idiot if he thinks this team can play possession football and compete with Bayern.

Which defenders from the youth team would you like to bring and potentially play away to Bayern? Someone like Kambwala, who's currently being given the run-around by the Bayern youth team?

If Utd don't allow Bayern to score more goals than them , they could get a draw or a win.

I don't have anyone specific in mind. It may be a defender, defensive mid or any other position. I believe that make much more sense than bringing a 3rd and 4th Gk that has remote chance of even playing unless there is some injury doubt in our 1sr 2 GK

He will. Bambi (Musiala) is still working his way back and will maybe get 30 mins like he did vs Leverkusen.
Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win.
Coaching Bayern is a simple job. 24 world class players compete for 11 spots and at the end, Müller always plays.
