Can finally go into work and the city fans will be quiet. It’s normally them winning and us losing.

A game of luck all around really.

Raya lucky not to conceded during his nonsense at the start of the game, Kovacic lucky not to be off and a lucky goal to win it.

It’s quite easy to, to be fair  They don’t look like they’re going away as quick this season though. Nobody would have imagined them sitting top of the league in October.
They've beat two big sides (us and Liverpool) and were hilariously jammy in both games. Not convinced at all by them just yet.

I said it many times, De Bruyne was so crucial in so many of City's wins over the last few seasons. Would conjure something out of nothing.

Still expect City to run away with it though, especially when he's back.

Ah Man City doing their usual "They look finished" trick and give teams hope until after Christmas when they blow everyone out of the water and win everything
Every year though the media start giving it in October like there isn’t so long to go where they could just win 10 games in a row, in that part of the season where the prizes are actually handed out.

They won't be winning ten straight with the midfield they had today. Rodri and KDB still absolutely integral in these matchups for all the greatest squad ever talk.

City will go on a winning streak at some point in the season as they always do
Yep, but I think Liverpool win it this year now. Not sure the hunger is there this year if we fall behind. Arsenal imo seems a lot weaker this season, all though we battered them in the head 2 heads. They will get a good hiding at the Etihad though I suspect

Haarland just stands around and does feck all. He waits for the ball come to him. Noticed this a lot this season and last season. Look at all the other forwards in the premiership. They run their bollox off.

Destiny is with Arsenal. Or so I feel.
Unless KDB comes back and elevates City up a notch and they go again on a winning streak.
Of course, it may not be Arsenal, maybe Liverpool.

City looked really short of ideas without KvB. Haaland in Saliba's pocket again. A very Citiesque performance by us today. Element of luck but what a huge win.

Wouldn’t say they was that jammy against us. Dominated us 2nd halve. And it takes some doing to win with 10 men even if it is only against Luton. Their new style of play and signings have took them to a new level. They obviously won’t win the league (I don’t think) but I think they’re a good bet to finish top 4.

Aye, still have no doubt they’ll win the league.
I have my doubts personally, they're great but the toll of playing so many games at such a level for so long will surely have to take it's toll at some point and even though they usually start slow it looks like this year might be it.

Just shows how key De Bruyne and Rodri are to them. Without them two, along with Haaland missing in the game they’re not as formidable and the opposition has a chance to beat them. Gundogan and Mahrez not there to bail them out anymore either like they used to.

I'm glad there was a winner! just so that we don't have to listen to every panel discussing bad referring decisions for the next 2 weeks.

Jammy goal again by Arsenal as nothing between the teams. Very disciplined and compact, but just a massive deflection that arrows straight into the goal.

Either way, feck off City.

Spurs have really decent fixtures until the new year. Most of the difficult teams they have at home.

How the hell are we only 5 point behind liverpool and 6 behind City. We've been terrible.

We were shit in the second half, but the stonewall penalty waved away, sitters missed and own goal are massive slices of luck needed to beat a side as bad as we have been so far.

Kovacic is such a nothing player.

To those who thought City had pulled off a "transfer masterstroke" by signing him, hang your heads in shame.

Saw that last season when they were 2 down at home to Spurs and Mahrez comes on and scored 20 minute hat trick. Doku had a decent start but he can't do that quite yet.

Wasn't Grealish an unused sub today? Something gone on between him and Pep I think.

As said below it's only 8 games so the gap isn't going to be that much with only 24 points available. And you've still won half your matches. As seasons go on draws are just as much costly as defeats. You've got more points than if say you'd drawn 1-1 v Palace and then yesterday.

Liverpool have dropped a few points lately. City have lost 2 now. It makes yesterdays winner look even sweeter now
