Why the feck does 50% of the coverage of every arsenal game focus on Arteta?
They've beat two big sides (us and Liverpool) and were hilariously jammy in both games. Not convinced at all by them just yet. It’s quite easy to, to be fair They don’t look like they’re going away as quick this season though. Nobody would have imagined them sitting top of the league in October.
Just stockpile material for the inevitable bottle job coming later this season.Just imagine what those Arsenal fans will be like for the next two weeks.
Every year though the media start giving it in October like there isn’t so long to go where they could just win 10 games in a row, in that part of the season where the prizes are actually handed out.Ah Man City doing their usual "They look finished" trick and give teams hope until after Christmas when they blow everyone out of the water and win everything
They won't be winning ten straight with the midfield they had today. Rodri and KDB still absolutely integral in these matchups for all the greatest squad ever talk.Ah Man City doing their usual "They look finished" trick and give teams hope until after Christmas when they blow everyone out of the water and win everything
Yep, but I think Liverpool win it this year now. Not sure the hunger is there this year if we fall behind. Arsenal imo seems a lot weaker this season, all though we battered them in the head 2 heads. They will get a good hiding at the Etihad though I suspectCity will go on a winning streak at some point in the season as they always do
When they started thinking they're a big team again. When did they start this singing shite?
First in about 45 years it feels likeFirst Arse win against City for a few years now no?
Since 2015First Arse win against City for a few years now no?
5 out of their next 6 are against Brighton, United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurswhen you look at the league fixtures, City have some tough games
Wouldn’t say they was that jammy against us. Dominated us 2nd halve. And it takes some doing to win with 10 men even if it is only against Luton. Their new style of play and signings have took them to a new level. They obviously won’t win the league (I don’t think) but I think they’re a good bet to finish top 4.They've beat two big sides (us and Liverpool) and were hilariously jammy in both games. I have my doubts personally, they're great but the toll of playing so many games at such a level for so long will surely have to take it's toll at some point and even though they usually start slow it looks like this year might be it.Aye, still have no doubt they’ll win the league.
So 4 tough games.5 out of their next 6 are against Brighton, United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs
We were shit in the second half, but the stonewall penalty waved away, sitters missed and own goal are massive slices of luck needed to beat a side as bad as we have been so far.Wouldn’t say they was that jammy against us. Because the season has barely started and everyone should chill outHow the hell are we only 5 point behind liverpool and 6 behind City. We've been terrible.
Saw that last season when they were 2 down at home to Spurs and Mahrez comes on and scored 20 minute hat trick. Doku had a decent start but he can't do that quite yet.Just shows how key De Bruyne and Rodri are to them. Without them two, along with Haaland missing in the game they’re not as formidable and the opposition has a chance to beat them. Gundogan and Mahrez not there to bail them out anymore either like they used to.
We've played 8 games. After 38 we'll likely be 20-30 behindHow the hell are we only 5 point behind liverpool and 6 behind City. We've been terrible.
Season barely started and weve lost 4 timesBecause the season has barely started and everyone should chill out
Yes? And we could finish 2nd - 8th.Season barely started and weve lost 4 times
As said below it's only 8 games so the gap isn't going to be that much with only 24 points available. And you've still won half your matches. As seasons go on draws are just as much costly as defeats. You've got more points than if say you'd drawn 1-1 v Palace and then yesterday. How the hell are we only 5 point behind liverpool and 6 behind City. We've been terrible.
No mate everything is terrible, sack the boss etc.As said below it's only 8 games so the gap isn't going to be that much with only 24 points available. And you've still won half your matches. Liverpool have dropped a few points lately. City have lost 2 now. It makes yesterdays winner look even sweeter nowHow the hell are we only 5 point behind liverpool and 6 behind City. We've been terrible.
