Justin Bronk saying something else than Charles Lister.

He could be correct but even he admit that he can't really tell which makes this tweet a bit strange from someone that is an experts.

Eh, it's not about whether it got hit but the desire for evidence. Where's the evidence that Israel deliberately struck it? It may very well be true, and seems the likeliest, but we don't know that for sure yet.
Where was this rigour when you were posting tweets about babies being beheaded, and women being raped next to dead bodies?

I've been following this thread for the last few days, although I rarely come into this section, because of obvious reasons like many others here. But the news is so sickening, and the worse part is I have zero expectations of any sort of pushback or consequences for Israel. Just so so depressing.

I mean it doesn’t need to be deliberate does it? The Israeli forces do look quite amateurish granted but that would be one huge mistake.

I'll leave the analysis on what caused the explosion to others; the outcome genuinely makes me sick to my stomach. This is beyond horrible. The only way this could get a somewhat positive outcome is that the international community can't sit back and do nothing (ie post vague condemnation). Action has to be taken for this. This has to end now. Feel so utterly sad for the Palestinians going through this.

You mean like when I initially responded "I call BS on that" when the first journalist clip came out saying she heard about beheaded babies? And not shying away from criticizing Biden to get his story right before he says in public that he saw the photos?

Nothing will happen. Time and time again Israel commits crimes against humanity. But to the west, Palestinians aren't considered humans. Just say Hamas this and that and the media will cast its playbook doubts, until you all forget in 1 or 2 days. feck Israel and all that support them.

Fair dos. That’s an unfair comment from me in that case, so apologies.

Surely not 5000?!
I don’t think I can share a specific post in the live feed, but it was from 20:06 by reporter Tom Bateman.

“The Al Ahli hospital is fully funded by the Anglican Church, say church officials.

I’ve been speaking to Canon Richard Sewell who is Dean of St George’s College - one of the Anglican Church’s top figures in Jerusalem.

He says church officials understand that around 6,000 displaced people were sheltering in the hospital courtyard by the end of last week. The hospital says it was first hit by an Israeli airstrike on Saturday.

That strike injured four people, after which around 5,000 people left the courtyard - leaving around 1,000 remaining there.

The Al Ahli hospital receives much of its funding from Episcopal Church donors in the US, say officials.

They say it is totally independent of any political factions in Gaza.”

Jesus. Those numbers really bring it home how horrendous conditions must be for everyone living there.

Hamas fire rockets fairly frequently, right? Have they ever accidentally blown up buildings in Gaza before?
Yes it has happened plenty of times. They’re not accurate, they do go astray sometimes and cause damage. Never anything close to this scale though, not remotely close. By contrast, here’s an example of an analogous event closer in scale (though if figures from tonight are accurate, still way off) - Qana Massacre

It's an official IDF message, so it's got nothing to do with i24.
The IDF are hardly a credible source. You know this and I know this. They lie all the time.

Yes, the footages of one of them has been used today.

Wait so they gave a warning before striking, and also its a Hamas rocket that struck the hospital? Which one is it? Both cant be true.

Yes I can hear you Clem Fandango!

If you're going to believe what the IDF say, I've got a bridge to sell you. Liars to the bone. Killed Shireen in broad light daylight, killed hundreds in broad daylight, they always shift the blame back onto the Palestinians. The sad part is that people actually fall for this blatant Hasbrah.
Hasbara, isn't it?

Anyway, reporting what the IDF says is important here, surely?
