Don’t think so. Why do you think that?as I said, will be backed by INEOS, not officially but through the back door.

It's all a bit low key isn't it?
I mean, you'd expect a bit more than a 1 page statement released at 4pm on Xmas eve for such a big announcement.
Ratcliffe doesn’t have to invest. If your bud is in the best interests of the club & with the Glazers either needing to sell or hedge fund. The Glazers do not want to sell so what do you do
That’s a red herring argument. Discuss this deal on its merits. The fact many are basing this being a good deal against a deal no one really knows actually existed speaks volumes. We're not becoming a state sponsored sports washing project and the Glazers have lost some control. That's a win for now.
What would you like?
Agreed. It’s a step in the right direction. We're not becoming a state sponsored sports washing project and the Glazers have lost some control. That's a win for now.
That’s perhaps the most insulting part of the lot given SjR has paid over a billion for shares.Precisely. They've gotten a cash injection to allow them to retain control of the club and a figure-head in Ratcliffe who'll also serve as a shield for on-field performances.
No debt is being wiped out and $300m is a drop in the bucket when you look at big infrastructural changes which are required both for the stadium as well as academy.
Don’t think so. Why do you think that?
I'm fine with SJR, but Dave Braisfold i cant stand.
How do you know him?I'm fine with SJR, but Dave Braisfold i cant stand.
Finally! I understand the disappointment of the Glazers not being gone, but this is a very positive day for thr club in my opinion. And we haven't had too many of those recently. Finally some actual investment into Old Trafford and with a new group in control of sporting operations we may actually implement the changes that we so badly need.
Thats Neville for you.Timing? What the feck is he on about?
More detail and an opportunity for people to ask questions. What would you like?
Timing? What the feck is he on about?
Why?
Announcing this on xmas eve when many employees of the club will be worried about their jobs (Im talking about non football staff here by the way). Its a shit time to announce thisTiming? What the feck is he on about?

Another baldist on the forum
even taking away football control from the Glazers is poitless? How so?
I appreciate your optimism - but a 25% investment is absolutely pointless and means absolutely nothing in the scheme of things.
Shit with a little sugar on top is, well. . . still shit.
So long as the Glazers are anywhere near our club, nothing will change. In fact, we may even be worse off with SJR.
Kick his f*ckin' ass, Nick.No it isn’t.
