Can’t wait for the Onana player performance thread to read the excuses from his apologists and sycophants.
ETH couldn't think of a third one.Nothing to lose, really. Onana is shocking. Need to be dropped.
Why the feck we bought 2 bad GKs in a window?
Because he was offside? He was making run after run after run, and barely ever being picked out. It was infuriating to watch.
We've had managers well respected for their ability to coach and implement a system apparently fail at United because they don't know how to coach, but could coach players perfectly well including to the very pinnacle of the game. Seems weird. How do you figure we look well coached? I don't see that at all.
And a good shrinkWelcome Sir Jim - hope you've got deep pockets
Moyes was a joke from the start. Fergie started this collapse by appointing his successor and it was an appalling decision. So agree he was worst but ETH pushing him close. If you add in the wasted funds and stuck with his players on massive contracts then actually I says its ETH.But he's not the only manager who's proved that, and at least Ten Hag had some success before that.
Moyes is objectively the worst manager post Fergie, for all of them the wheels have fallen off, but he's the only one who didn't get a decent season out of us first (and that's having inherited the champions, a far better team than any other manager has inherited).
If what Keano said once about De Gea is true, he would throw punches out at Onana and then make sure that Onana is persona non grata on the team bus.I’m on board with Keano for the interim role, so long as he gets rid of our liability at keeper.
Not good enough. At this stage we have to be asking whether Joe Hugill could do a better job at 9.
I’m shocked! Knew I shouldn’t have handed back my season ticket! Can actually log into WiFi these days. Literally the only slither of any improvement on anything this season.
Lively until it comes to do to remotely anything that resembles putting the ball in the net.I think we can. We've looked lively.
Keano would probably be worse than Ten Hag but at least the pressers will be more entertaining. On that basis, I concur.Professional and literal seppuku for United if they choose him. I prefer to go with Keano as an interim for the sake of make those lazy gits suffer for the next 5 months and then finding a full-time manager than waste one second on Potter.
What did he do wrong in that half exactly? Can’t wait for the Onana player performance thread to read the excuses from his apologists and sycophants.
I dont think we looked hopeless to be fair. We just have forwards who cant stay onside in a fast pace game and forwards who simply cant scoreTechnically a woeful football team. We look utterly hopeless.
I think we've done quite well as a whole. Think Garnacho has looked quite good on the right, too. Unfortunately, we've been pretty wasteful.Rashford only player that comes out of the half with some credit tbh.
Amrabat is injured so isn't even on the bench.Only if for Hojlund - Rasmus is useless.
Eriksen should be changed for Amrabat or Mejbri
Hope he kept the receipts !!Welcome Sir Jim - hope you've got deep pockets
That plus the anger of fans making the players pretend like they are trying to do anything competent.Everyone saying we started to play after the second goal. Did we, or have Villa just eased off with a 2 goal lead? Feels more like the 2nd to me.
He’s shite and he’ll be playing in League 1 next seasonAt this stage we have to be asking whether Joe Hugill could do a better job at 9.
Henry would have to be good with the U23 first. There is more chance that he gets sacked than he ever manage the national team. Why is that? Henry has been selected to lead the bunch at the 2024 Olympics. If you can't get Zidane for that once-in-a-lifetime job with his service record, you can reckon that he won't get a coaching job at the FFF.
Most of them were offside. But we haven’t created that many chances in a half in god knows how long.
Oh, didn’t notice it, thanks. For Mejbri thenAmrabat is injured so isn't even on the bench.
Reminds me a bit of Fabio Silva at Wolves. Looks so bereft of confidence from lack of goalscoring that his first touch is poorHojlund just looks dejected now. His spirit has departed.
We didnt, Bayindir hasnt played yet and Onana is a good keeperNothing to lose, really. Onana is shocking. Need to be dropped.
Why the feck we bought 2 bad GKs in a window?
We will be conservative so it will be low scoring. Emery will also note the Chelsea game when it was end to end and you actually looked pretty good for the first time in months so we don't want a basketball type match as the league cup match last season was also a bit like that.
Konsa will also move to RB to deal with Garnacho.
Think it will be 1-1. We haven't actually scored the first goal in an away prem game since the middle of September so that's a bad habit we can't quite kick.
Fernandes usually has good games v us so our fans in the corner giving him stick will probably awaken him from his 23/24 slumber.
Told ya. Another "record" broken courtesy of Manchester United.Luckily for you all, we're pretty good at breaking negative records this season.
It's nonsense really, given that his previous season was statistically the best in club history in terms of win rate.Obviously it's more a joke as it's technically just personal opinion but considering this is statistically our worst individual season by a manager in this modern era id say that's enough to confirm it.
If i was a neutral i would watch us every gameat least we get to enjoy an open game
Bollocks. We’re behind because the players didn’t put in the minimal effort required of professional football players. Nothing beyond that mattersI’ve been really pessimistic on here in the last few months.
But that is probably the best we have played in weeks.
Just 2 horrendous set piece goals conceded.
But we haven’t created that many chances in a half in god knows how long.
But the goalkeeper is horrendous. The ball bounced next to him, 3 yards out from goal. Just horrendous.
We got Robert Huth’d on the second one.
