Would agree with that , it is not as if we are chasing a league title , even top 4 is out of reach already. What's the point of another Weghorst type sticking plaster? If there's no cash then forget January and start planning for the summer
Did you watch him play? We’re lucky to get that.€11m We are freaking epic at ruining a players value…..
So let's not get a well established striker but one who might just be a one season wonder?Muller might be fun, but I still hope we gamble 17m on Guirassy. He would at least have some resale value if it doesn’t work here. Timo should be a nonstarter.
Selling Sancho won't make much difference to our FFP I'd assume given he's got 2(?) Years left on his deal we'd be looking at 32M roughly to break even on FFP. No chance we're making much more than that, it would only be his wages that we'd be saving on moving forward and they are built into each years FFP so probably about 7/8M space this season if we sold him for 32MI’d rather Guirassy but as things stand we can’t afford anything. So a loan it is!
(unless we offload Sancho i suspect?)
Ready-made? This guy can't hit a barn door at best of times, nothing ready-made about him.Slightly more info on Werner. To be honest, I’d take him at this point, we need a striker & an experienced one. He may do well for us. Then we can go get Toney in the summer

Ajax should be added to the never do business with again list.We overpaid massively. He's completely pants.
Was just thinking yesterday that he's a West Ham signing, can just see him at West Ham for some reason.West Ham have Guirassy lined up supposedly.

Yeah agree so sick of these loan deals and stop gap signings. What's the point of another Weghorst type sticking plaster? If there's no cash then forget January and start planning for the summer
Werner would be a loan. Though I agree, not good enough.Letting West Ham sign 17-goal Guirassy for €20m while we go and buy 2-goal and proven PL flop Werner would be peak United

We waste all our money on rubbish the manager wants, play poorly, realise there are still massive issues in the team, realise there's no money left because it's already been wasted, then desperately seek to bolster the squad with crap loans to appease a desperate manager who hasn't got a clue what he's doing.Yeah agree so sick of these loan deals and stop gap signings.
I swear no top club makes these kind of signings as much as us.
Sigh You lost me here…..We don't fecking need a striker,
So what’s new?!We overpaid massively. He's completely pants.

Agreed. The offensive players behind the striker are either utter shite or allergic to passing the ball to teammates in better position. If we actually started playing more as a team and there was an ounce of creativity in the side, Hojlund would have been much more productive. So let's not get a well established striker but one who might just be a one season wonder?
We don't fecking need a striker, we need wingers and a 10 that can actually do anything besides stat padding.

Spain's Mateo Mejia spent almost three years injured when he joined Manchester United: "Every time I ran, my ankle would go clack clack clack".
His contract expires in June...and Sevilla want to sign him for their reserve team. He is an U-20 international with Colombia.

I know Bayern are a really good club, and that naturally helps him to get some free goals - but it still puzzles me how he before this season had 35 goals in 88 matches - which is quite decent considering how many matches he started on the benchExcellent, should give us a free run at Choupo-Moting.
I think your sources are unreliable.Funny how FFP only effects us. Meanwhile Barca was pulling levers left, right and center despite not paying players, Boehly is selling duds to Saudi for blatantly inflated fees and City just do what they want and ignore the rules.
No point buying any striker. We need a creative winger.
Said nobody ever.Excellent, should give us a free run at Choupo-Moting.
€3 million ffs! With wages included it's not a great deal but at least he'd be away and it would free up wages for a loan.
Well he’s off to Bayern thenTier 1 (Tobi Altschäffl):
