Apparently makes it the deadliest day for Israel since their ground offensive began.
Just curious. Who was the sovereign on the land the British “gave away”?
So after Ottoman empire ceased to exist when exactly did this happen? On which conference/by which treaty the power of disposition transfered in this way?
He's telling you that there never was a Palestine to speak of.The Palestinians who were already living there ?![]()
Stealing land isn't one of the objectives.
They can call it a happy fun zone for all I care, doesn't make it any less despicable. No, creating a security zone is. Has been clear two months ago.
And by doing so, downsizing an area that already was overpopulated. Let's admit that it was the goal, how is that gonna work? No, creating a security zone is. Has been clear two months ago.
You know what also constitutes as a security zone? Borders. No, creating a security zone is. Has been clear two months ago.

Come on guys, it's too complex.
It's honestly not.If you don't realise that it is complex then you will never understand the conflict meaningfully.
You second paragraph in no way makes the situation simple, and in any case Israel and the Palestininans are far from the only players involved.
Create it on your own land. No, creating a security zone is. Has been clear two months ago.

Come on, Amir, you can't possibly believe that it will solve anything or lead to anything but more violence in the future. It's horseshit and you know it.
You know what also constitutes as a security zone? Borders.
If it's not stolen land then presumably the Palestinians can rebuild on it and do as they wish right?
Create it on your own land.

We wouldn't have needed it had Hamas not attacked and butchered citizens. It's their problem.
I mean apartheid walls in the West Bank are hardly the same as borders.Well, we tried a wall. It didn't work, because we have a murderous terrorist group across the border.
Important tweet.
Well, they know their own government better than us - Hostage lives don't matter, land grabbing is all that does.the families of the hostages storm the Knesset after Netanyahu rejected the deal.
If they surrended their weapons and bring Hamas down, sure.
These are the people they are sending into battleNot going too well for Israel it seems.
Ami is lost, I can only imagine how insane the propaganda must be in israel right now.

It's a shame that people here can't accept the slight possibility that reading Twitter doesn't mean they know everything about the situation here.
I'm saying borders provide better security. Firstly from a logistic perspective, you're not scattering checkpoints everywhere, and can militarise the feck out of them for all you want. And also from a de-radicalisation stance, Palestinians would have less to feel incensed about if they had their own national autonomy and a nation to call their own. Subjugation clearly doesn't work from a security perspective, so the choice is either go full on genocide/ethnic cleansing or take a chance at peace by giving them a nation and then police your borders as heavy-handedly as you want. Personally I find the latter option far more palatable and humanitarian.Do you think borders would stop Hamas from killing Israelis?

It's quite strong.
And I work for the one critical media outlet (Haaretz) against the propaganda and the war.

That's how propaganda works, you don't notice you're being a victim of it. Going by your posts here, I have bad news for you mate...
This whole proposed 'security buffer zone' that only clams the Palestinians into further dense pockets isn't going to make Israel any safer, nor is this bloody onslaught which has only created thousands of future Hamas members.
