I just think he's not the man to build up our club. The example you quoted shows that Klopp and Tuchel worked together at Mainz but they couldn’t be more different in terms of management style. I think Tuchel is more knowledgeable tactically speaking. And crazier. Tuchel has no empathy whatsoever. He's a journeyman, who will stay 2-3 years at the club, fight with everyone and leave in a heap. Why? Because he doesn't want to live in past? Would you be happy coming on new job and everybody saying: "previous guy did that and that" or "he did it in other way around".
Personally i think that it is exactly what we need; stop talking about United way, how Fergie did this and that and other stuff. Lets give new manager clean start to implement his way of doing things.
Agreed. You need someone with medals to motivate our lot. Having won the CL, domestic leagues in German and France, the man knows how to deliver trophies.Would take him ahead of Potter and Southgate
Incredibly underwhelming points in that. Not even remotely concerning.Tweet

We should steer clear
Bayern is such a weird club. Why would anyone connected to the club speak like that about their manager?Tweet

He's not staying at Bayern.
Because firstly, its true. Plus Bayern hierarchy don't hide their thoughts on coaches. Which is why that job is amongst the hardest around.Bayern is such a weird club. Why would anyone connected to the club speak like that about their manager?
I wouldn't mind seeing him here, wouldn't be super excited either. But think he would be an upgrade on EtH.No. Doesn't develop young players.
Because the manager is not considered a deity there, just another employee. Similar to how managers at times criticize the players, Bayern hierarchy at times criticizes the manager.Bayern is such a weird club. Why would anyone connected to the club speak like that about their manager?
Spot onBecause the manager is not considered a deity there, just another employee. Similar to how managers at times criticize the players, Bayern hierarchy at times criticizes the manager.
Same for other big clubs whose goal is winning titles not being a worshiping institution for the manager.
You are not building anything with Bruno and Casemiro in midfield , while Mainoo is good relative to his age he has still all to prove .Makes the most sense, Erik is in no mans land and the job opening is on the detriment of how poor his management has been. If Tuchel comes in shores up the midfield positionally, it's hardly the worst foundation to build from with Bruno, Case and Mainoo at the base of it all.
Di Matteo didn't get to another final and semi final (possibly final) though, his was a fluke.so did Di Matteo
Same as pre Ten Hag, except he's now available.Yes over other options. But he won't be available so irrelevant.
High quality entertainment...
Because they already sacked him (effective at the end of the season) when it looked like it ends up a terrible season. No one asked questions, if you don't win stuff in a season, you are gone as a Bayern manager.Bayern is such a weird club. Why would anyone connected to the club speak like that about their manager?
I think even if Madrid beat Bayern in the semi final questions will be asked by fans. I mean, when Nagelsmann signed a new contract with Germany they were pretty much left with managers not on the level of Tuchel.Because they already sacked him (effective at the end of the season) when it looked like it ends up a terrible season. But by now there is real danger that they might win the CL, so the board needs additional reasons to not look stupid in all this. Even reaching the semifinal lead to the first questions if Tuchel might stay after all.
There already is a petition signed by more than 10,000 fans to make Tuchel stay. Questions are already being asked, this is kind of an answer.I think even if Madrid beat Bayern in the semi final questions will be asked by fans. I mean Bayern are being linked with Rangnick atm.
Then the Bayern directors are really pushing themselves into the corner then with these type of comments. I don't see how they can extend Tuchel even if they were forced to by the fans, after that. There already is a petition signed by more than 10,000 fans to make Tuchel stay. At this point, why even think long term. Most of the elite clubs don't. We're the only ones who are still romanticising about finding the next Fergie. Not over the moon at the thought, and it would be very much short-term... but Ten Hag has lost the dressing room and a change is needed unfortunately. There are no top managers available. Is what it is.
Especially when the new management wants to run the club in the head coach model and not the Manager model of old. If the people at the top are confident in their ability to find the right players and squad then all of this long term talk of the manager needs to go.At this point, why even think long term. Most of the elite clubs don't. We're the only ones who are still romanticising about finding the next Fergie.
As long as Tuchel wins us some major trophies, I could care less if he fecks off in 2-3 years time after causing a meltdown.
