F1 Season 2025

Kind of boring race. I like it more when it rains, so much chaos.

On another note, the Ferrari car breaks its front wing and starts going faster

Piastri should win the championship.

It will either be him or Lando, for now though they need to work together and build a gap between them and the others, it's going to get heated between the two of them at some point though.

And yet again a damaged wing is showing F1 up for all the vodoo bs they talk about micro changes on wings etc.

Every single time one of those end plates comes off you think it's going to have this huge impact and then...nothing happens. They said he lost 20-30 points of downforce on the front which sounds really bad but from the looks of things they must have about 100.000 points to start with so it doesn't really matter anyway.

Now Leclerc’s car is underweight, that will be a DSQ.

Ferrari heritage in just 2 races

Didn't they raise the car in Australia? Whatever worked in the Sprint should have been continued with

My Ferrari theory is they can’t run the car too low for skid plate wear, they can get away with it for a sprint but not a GP so they have to raise the car and lose performance, problem is they didn’t quite get their calculations right for China.

Leclerc’s car not checked for skid wear as far as I can tell, it’s plausible it was underweight because of excessive wear.

Pierre Gasly, Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton have been disqualified from the Chinese Grand Prix

Pierre and Charles' cars were found to be underweight, while Lewis' car was deemed to have excessive skid wear

Hamiltons car:

"The plank assembly of Car 44 was measured and found to be 8.6mm (LHS), 8.6mm (car centerline) and 8.5mm (RHS). This is below the minimum thickness of 9mm specified under Article 3.5.9 of the Technical Regulations," the stewards explained.

Leclerc car:

"Car 16 was weighed by the FIA Technical Delegate inside and outside scales with both scales showing the same result of 799 kg after the customary draining of fuel and the replacement of a broken front wing. The calibration of both scales was confirmed and witnessed by the competitor."

I get the plank wear, 0.4 -0.5mm is not much in reality, but how can a car be underweight, once drained of fuel and a replacement wing put on? Also how much under was it?

No wonder Schumacher needed a "dream team" when he moved to Ferrari all those years ago.

Ocon 5th, Antonelli 6th, Albon 7th, Bearman 8th, Stroll 9th, Sainz 10th.

Sainz first points for Williams too!

What a result this is for Haas

Hamilton on his way to getting the full Ferrari experience in record time.

What have we got for Japan? I'll go with them leading on the last lap by 20 seconds when the engine blows up.
