Yeah, I think it's both. Our attacking options have been incredibly profligate, we've shown poor decision making in the final third, and Dorgu has made poor passes a number of times, besides looking a bit lost at times. I'm just worried that he might not be anywhere near what we expected.

Nah, I think he looks promising in the final third tbh. His biggest issue is simple brainfarts. That's fixable with coaching. Trying to give a player edge and creative output is much harder.

As for our first half performance, I think we've had sections in the game where we look fairly comfortable. Then we brainfart (all the players have been guilty of this) and we suddenly have a nervous few minutes. Feel like they'll get a bollocking at half time and come out concentrating and get the game done. We'll score next and then it's tie over.

If Garnacho chips the keeper for his first chance and then buries his second chance (the one that went wide), suddenly it's a different outlook. It just comes down to the simple fact that we're not clinical enough in front of goal. That build up and release pass for the big Garnacho chance was great. Have to be finishing chances like that. When it cut to Amorim on the touchline with him shaking his head, you could tell that he was massively annoyed by this, too.

We haven't been good but I think a lot of people are being swayed by the commentary desperately trying to create a narrative of it being on tenterhooks.

Everytime Bilbao are in our half they are making it sound like we just cleared 3 shots off the line.
