Tottenham will fancy their chances in the final having beaten United 3 times already this season but this United team reaching the showpiece and beating the 4th best in Spain 7-1 on AGG has far exceeded expectations for that group of United players.

Pulled up the whole level of the team, and suddenly unlocked Leny Yoro who put in a beast of a performance in that second half. Was genuinely nervy of us potentially screwing it up at half time and it didn't get much better for 15-20 minutes of the second half. But after the changes it was brilliant.

Mount and Amad made a massive difference. Switch of Dorgu worked and Yoro was brilliant.

Controlled that pretty well throughout but we just gave the ball away so cheaply so often, usually without much pressure on us, that a better side would have punished us more. Dorgu needs to get better on the ball. Yoro is brilliant and his ability on the ball shines a massive light on how much Lindelof and Maguire are not good enough on the ball to play in this system. Ugarte and Casemiro were solid defensively but again gave the ball away a lot. Amad is a class above. Once we had Shaw, Mainoo, Amad, and Mount on you started to see how strong we can be when we have players with technique and touch on the pitch to compliment Bruno and Yoro in particular.

Spurs seem to be a bit of a bogey side for us lately so let's hope we turn up for the final. We've been scoring for fun in Europe this season so that gives me hope.

This is something I've said for ages. Players like Mount are good players. He's had a shit time with injuries but he has always had a game like that in him. The subs turned the game without a doubt. 70 minutes of dross, 20 minutes of 24 carat gold.

Amad makes a big difference, he makes the game easier for our midfielders.

And fantastic to see Mason Mount, good luck to him. His talent was on display, and (whisper it...), he's scoring goals. Fantastic.

Not a single shot on target until Mount’s brilliant first goal (and what a goal!), then the game turned on its head.
What a fantastic 20 minutes.

Mount - waste of money apparently.

All three have come under intense criticism, but they’re the ones who turned this game on its head and sent us to the final in style.
Had we gone through on a 0-1 loss tonight, with that dreadful performance continuing until the final whistle, it would have felt deflating.
