I’ve seen that they’re doing something at the AO Arena but can’t help but think it will be a bit plastic. Not sure if that’s the same one.
I'm not sure as I didn't click the link. I agree that the AO will likely be a bit too forced and plastic.
I don't think United will open up a stand with a screen, as it'll mean they'll have to hire security/police/ambulance etc.

Managed to bag some tickets in the ballot despite some horrible luck this season. £1.5k return flights... Staying in a studio flat 30km NE of Bilbao in Bermeo if anyone is close by for a few drinks let me know.

Bizarre amount of people I know successfull in ballot. Loads of people didn't seem to realise ballot closed before game today. A fair few people caught off guard.
It seems getting the ticket is the easy bit. Trying to justify to myself basically spending more for travel for 1 game than my season ticket next season

I got some in the uefa ballot for it, or at least I think I did, going to check to see if the email is legit in the morning. But 2 hours scrambling round tonight and travel options look dire.

How long is the drive? I read that flights are long as they don’t go direct. Gutted I’m not going but if there’s a decently organised fanzone or something then that’ll be the next best thing for me.
It’s 1100 miles so 17-18 hours… planing to leave Tuesday and cover as many miles as we can, aim is get down to Bordeaux and stop over. Bilbao is about 4 hours from there so hopefully be there for midday.
Will take one if you have one going spare. I’m all sorted for travel and accommodation, but no ticket at the moment. I’m only a Cup Season Ticket holder, so wasn’t eligible for the ballot.

That is better than £900. Anyone used them before?
I’ve got two in the ballot but don’t think I can go, how easier is it to pass them on? It’s saying the tickets go to a Uefa app, can they be passed on from there?
It’s vague, but the UEFA help info says it can be transferred to “your guests but not a third party”.
My guess is that that’s them discouraging people from transferring to touts.
Happy to take the tickets if you can’t make it mate? Even one works for me, if it means someone else here can go too.

Does anyone know if you have friends in other price categories on the same tier in Bilbao can you walk around to other sections of ground?
I've transferred loads of tickets in the Uefa app before for other tournaments. You can send to anyone just using their email address.
If anyone has a pair that they can't shift let me know. Happy to take them off your hands at face value as me and all lads I go with got chubbed in both ballots. Won't entertain paying over for them as I'm already fuming so many fans have missed out when the Internet is awash with tickets going at over a grand a piece!! Touts do my head in
