The club wouldn’t stand in his way of a £100m and £700k a week Saudi move. They’ll definitely negotiate much harder if he wants to move somewhere else in Europe and not accept any lowball offers. Why do people think he is staying?
The wording of that article suggests that he want's to leave but just not to Saudi Arabia.
It means we won't be getting a massive transfer fee for him.
I know what you mean, but we have seen a "measured" Bruno, who keeps it ticking and spreads it wide, he can do it, if the team is cohesive and quality upfront means they can make things happen instead of depending on Bruno's Magic. With 3 at the back, and if you genuinely want your wingbacks to actually push up the pitch you can't afford to have a midfielder in your team as reckless as Bruno is on the ball unfortunately.

That’s assuming anyone in Europe will even come close to offering what we want.
Absolutely zero to do with where his heart is opposed to where his family don’t want to go.Guy turned down crazy money 200m to stay with us even in this period. Shown where his heart is.
Exactly. Which is why we won’t sell him - simple.Which European club is paying big money for Bruno?
We will struggle to even get £80m for him now!

Reports have said that Mbeumo deal is not contingent on Fernandes leaving.Which means another season of him not having a position in this team and less money to spend. This might stop the Mbeumo deal going through.
I like Bruno but he's also not the future if we take a 3-4 year view, given his age. Not clear how he fits in Amorim's system if we buy 2 new 10s and he is not a CM. So I dont see it at all surprising people saw this as an opportunity to raise some funds and address the CM position.
They're just the same bunch who moaned about him constantly last season. He kept them quiet for most of the season but it doesn't take much for them to be triggered back into action.
He wants to stay at top level in Europe...meaning he'd be looking to move to one of the top CL clubs for half the money?
Seems like.
I think if a top club comes in, he will tell the club he wants out and the club will grant him his wish.
Think this will put an end to us signing a midfielder this window. Gyökeres and a keeper to go with Cunha and Mbeumo would do nicely.
Next summer we can sign a partner for Heaven and Yoro, in addition to sorting out the midfield.
The idea of pushing out our captain, best player for many years, the one player you can honestly say has given his all for the club is abhorrent.Only we can get a golden opportunity like this and blow it, he should have been actively pushed out.
Can’t wait to see him in a midfield 2 next season giving the ball away every second pass.
The Anti Bruno crowd are weird. We barely scored any goals last season and yet they want to take away our top scorer and main creative force?Only we can get a golden opportunity like this and blow it, he should have been actively pushed out.

No.“Wants to play at top level in Europe”
So he’s still leaving?
Thats my fear. But unless Bayern or someone come up with wirtz type money then no chance"Wants to remain in europe" He'll still try leave but stay at highest level.
Hope that you’re rightNo.
It’s the context it was written in.
Top level in Europe…. The Prem.
It’s because he was linked to a Saudi Club.
I don't see us being able to afford one now. Bruno will be the 8.We are in the market for a midfielder. There’s been reports we want an 8.
No midfielder this summer will likely prove significantly detrimental.Think this will put an end to us signing a midfielder this window. Gyökeres and a keeper to go with Cunha and Mbeumo would do nicely.

Please just stop posting your utter tripe. 5 posts a day of it is still too much.Which means another season of him not having a position in this team and less money to spend. This might stop the Mbeumo deal going through.
Not even after selling rashford, antony and sancho? I can also see casemiro going as well. Plus we have the Alvaro money coming in once that deal goes through.I don't see us being able to afford one now. Bruno will be the 8.
I thought he put in a midfield performance against Liverpool as good as I have seen. He can be really good there.Delighted with this news. Thought he had his best season ever on a personal level last season. I really like him in CM.
