Is this true?

tbh, ive never really seen him talk negative towards United on MOTD, he always seems to praise us.

His predictions are shit though
This is the point. If anybody wanks over United, then it's on MOTD... with that high pitched cnut himself. And that other cnut, Hansen...

The biggest law in football is the law of averages......
thus when some commentator like Martin Tyler tells me that United have not been beaten by some team since the Crimean War...I always start to worry. Cant help it........
its being so cheerful as keeps me going.

He always has Liverpool to win. He is a complete muppet. Arsenal to win 2-0 at City, that would be some result!

Easy to figure someone out when they do poor, but lawrenson has been spot on in his tipping and yet again outdoes the average mug puntr.

Fair play to him and to back him up my winnings in last 7 days.

Scholes didn't start the FA Cup.

Vidic didn't play at all.

King is still a doubt.

Woodgate is made of glass.

Dawson is banned.

Hutton is great going forward but iffy defensively.

We rested players mid-week, Spurs didn't.

Our record at White Hart Lane is superb.

Did I mention Paul Scholes?

"Lawro" is an idiot.

Nuff said.
All of this stuff mattered, didn't it.

Lawro's prediction for this weekend

Birmingham 2-1 Arsenal
Newcastle 0-2 Manchester United

Where is the thread starter now?

Jesus he's really sticking his neck out there!
Of course next time he backs United to drop points he'll be a "biased cnut" again.

Can't see Arsenal dropping points to Brum though, and the Newcastle game will be tough. They are really due a big performance and you always worry about United after tough CL games.

He needs to. After the City game he predicted we will be Champions on goal diffirence  What's the chance of it being decided by goal diffirence?

I'm amazed he thinks we will win as easily as 3-0. I'm also kind of amazed that the odds with the bookies of Chelsea winning the league are as long as 7/2. I think we'll win but it's going to be a real battle with Wigan.

But according to the posts above Lawrenson predicted that Arsenal would drop points at Birmingham and the title would come down to goal difference so that's pretty impressive.

The Philosophy.
I've noticed that. To the outsiders its apparently ours with Wigan having nothing to play for. I was like that a few days ago.

He has predicted us to beat Wigan 3-0. Thats it then. We are done for.
If we get on them early it could be more, I dont see us not coming away with a win, worst case scenario is that United have to come from a goal behind but hell they did it last month v Arsenal

This needs a bump:

SATURDAY

Portsmouth v Liverpool (1245 GMT)
Portsmouth got a good draw with a late equaliser last Saturday and by all accounts produced a decent performance as well at Chelsea.
There's no doubt that Portsmouth's performances have not been reflected in the number of points they've won - they are a little better than their points tally would suggest.
Predicting the result with Liverpool at the moment is almost impossible, not least because you can't second guess manager Rafa Benitez in terms of the team he is going to play.
Having said that, I think that after the win against Wigan in midweek I'm going to go for a Liverpool victory
There's no bias intended in that, I just wonder if they might now string a bit of a run together.
Verdict: 2-0

Spot anything wrong?

The 2-0 is the wrong way round.
