I thought he was stunning against Le'Arse, hardly lost the ball, played lovely 1-2's with Xavi, was very confident on the ball and can actually dribble the ball too at times, maybe he dived a lot but I thought he was top quality last night and I have no doubt now why he replaced Yaya Toure.

Cheating prick but he made Anderson look like a school boy in the Cl Final, for somebody his age his composure at times is something to behold. I was dissapointed with Pedro in the two legs mind you.

Down Under, pun intended.
I think his a very good player. His going to be perfect in that role behind Xavi and Iniesta for years. They've found themselves another home-grown gem. When will they stop?

I didn't think he was that good last night, he was brilliant last week until he tired late on.

He was diving around like a right fanny and has a name that reminds me of Biscuits. Not the 1871 one type either.

It's not even standard dives either, it's 'I'm going to be in agony for the player to get a yellow' dives, if Fabregas was to be fit he wouldn't have been able to play because of his overreactions to a clean tackle.

He is class without class.

A dirty player but you need that sort in your team. He took out Walcott early on and should have been booked. He knew exactly what he was doing and when he dives it's always when he thinks he's going to lose the ball. Rather than lose it he'll find a way to con the ref.

Footballing wise i really rate him now. 21 and his passing, composure and ability on the ball are all excellent and defensively he does a job too. Not the quickest but his all round ability make him a very impressive player.

Only FV can come up with these statements (not to be taken as an insult)

If you look at the stats last night, I saw the quick tab pop up and Barca had like 186 successful passes compared to Arsenal's 36. I mean that was almost six times the difference.

You just see the quality, every player knows what to do, the easily create space and their Fullback were just left unmarked to go up to attack. Certainly their MF's doing and just thinking that they played Keita Upfrom means that he was a free player, if you had Iniesta playing for him last night, I was certain they'd score more.

Another questions, How do you guys rate him Vs. Carrick.

Busquets Vs. Carrick.

Discuss.
Better, i've came to a conclusion regarding Carrick in that he's just not that good. A good EPL player but i've seen him struggle in europe too many times and his form is so erratic.

Busquets is much younger yet is showing more and i imagine people will say it is Barcelona that make him good etc but really i give him top marks. He''ll be playing the role for spain in the WC taking over from Senna i'd imagine.

I watched Barca in a league match a few weeks back and was very unimpressed with this biscuits bloke. I had no idea he was only 21 though, so he's allowed to be inconsistent.

IMO he was excellent in both legs against Arsenal. Barca have yet another gem on their hands. Cnuts. How young is their fecking team anyway? I note that Wenger, for once, didn't trot out the "yong and lernin" excuse, I'm guessing that's because Arsenal were the older side on the night?

Before we played them at their ground Wenger admitted that his team is not that young anymore, implying it's their coming of age, time to step up. They have failed miserably mind you.

busquets is their fletch IMO. homegrown, willing to always stick in a tackle.

difference being he is a class above in technique and dribbling ability.

fletch is a class above in stamina.

and at 21/22 busquets pisses all over fletch at that same age.

Surprised people have only made a thread about him now. Pissed all over us in the final last season and I thought he might be their weak link with Toure playing out of position.

Decent passer. Tall for a Barcelona player. Thats about it right now. May be a really good player in the future, but right now he's not up to much.

Yes. Pedro plays up front. Biscuits in central midfield.

Pedro is 18 (I think) and Biscuits 21. It's ridiculous how young Barca's best players are.
Pedro is 22 and Busquets is 21. Pedro spent a lot of time in the B team where he and Busquests were managed by Guardiola.

I reckon Pep saw something of himself in Busquets because he really came out of nowhere and this season has established himself in midfield. He must be the only youth player to come throught the ranks and be over 6tf tall (not being a central defender) ever.

Valdes - 28
Dani Alves - 26
Pique - 23
Puyol - 31
Abidal - 30
Xavi - 30
Iniesta - 25
Busquets - 21
Messi - 22
Pedro - 22
Ibrahimovic - 28

Guess you'd call that their first 11. Good mix of youth and experience, perfect in fact.

Busquets is clearly a dirty, cheating bastard. But he's also very tidy on the ball, positionally excellent and good in the tackle and only 21. Another great find.

Why is it surprising that he's young or tall? He's the son of the goalkeeper
