With Özil's case it also makes sense to sub him. Let others play. Diarra on for either Khedira or Alonso. Benzema for Higuain. You don't sub Ronaldo. So that leaves Di Maria and Özil.
Özil was fine this WC. He always seems to have a bit of burst left in him.

Arsenal tend to get very complacent in 2nd half when defending and that's especially down to the midfield.

In fairness, most of us said Nasri is a very talented fella, I wasn't expecting this level from him this season but he was always likely to become world class. (Not saying he is yet)
